Were you running really backspaced wheels or what?

My YJ is on a DRW 60 with H1's and still not that wide, I think. It's somewhat close though.
 
Ya it got a little wider with the new wheels...they are around 2.5" BS or so; old ones were 4". They were local and a buddy gave me a good price on 'em, so I wasn't too concerned with a couple inches. Its super stable as it sits and I've never had trouble anywhere due to width.
 
I love taking classes where my final project can be bending tube. :lol:

Bumping this for updates. Changing the cage around and building custom dash with new gauges and switches. Should look much better than stock and actually work. Bumpstops for the front end, as well as an oil pan skid are on the list as well.

Also, I'm "that guy" who never built a proper set of rockers, so I'm finally getting around to that as well.

Got gauges and switches in tonight. Still isn't finished yet and I need to rewire everything but its slowly coming together.

Dash is looking sexay. Just a smidgen better than the old junk.

So....when are you guys going to help me set up some tube fenders for my baby TJ? The ones on it are starting to rust through, and getting annoying. :lol:
