My imagination has them secretly flying from DC to Mar A lago.. With it being a heightened security weekend, especially the 4th, they brought the decoy plane also

Guess we'll never know. Unless @GotWood can produce some pics!!

I found this by asking google if anyone seen large plane escorted by fighter jets over nc.

I'm not saying these are the planes we saw, or that this picture was taken the day we saw them BUT, this pic looks just like what we saw, except there were 2 sets of planes.

I spent 3 years loading the hard drives that ran the electronics on them. 3 on 3 off 13 hour shift work mostly nights sucked though.

The short time I spent with the u2's was a lot more interesting.

That's a c17 globemaster, the 145th airlift wing out of Charlotte Douglas flies them now, used to fly c130s now they drive those monsters. For what it's worth, one of those also follows around af1 whenever the president goes somewhere.
