Diesel prices, $4/gal yet anywhere in NC? Now $5

Anyone paid $4/gal or more yet for diesel around NC(not talking about CA or some other place)? The station a couple of miles from my house is up to $3.96/gal. Looks like two local ones are at $3.99/gal: http://www.greensborogasprices.com/index.aspx?fuel=D I guess nobody wants to cross that $4 barrier.

Since I'm driving the VW now I haven't been to the pump in about 3 weeks...I started pumping yesterday and grabbed the nozzle out of the tank when I saw 3.99...I thought I was at the wrong pump or something...had to do a double take...

mostly 3.89-3.99 around here. Bought it for 3.79 at the Walmart this morning, should be good for another 600 miles. Will probably be $5/gal by then.

Talked to a friend in PA on tuesday and it was $4.14 at the nearest station there. I'm going up for a wk of turkey hunting at the end of april and I'm expecting to spend no less than $400 just in fuel by the time I get home. I'm thinking the economy is going to be seriously fawked this summer. I bet 90% of the consumers out there have no idea how the price of diesel fuel affects the overall price of things. No better time to spend 10k on a barely legal crawler I'm buying a new dd this wknd
