Do you believe?

There are more sightings in the states of California, Colorado and Washington than anywhere else. If you really want to see one, go hang out there for a while. :smokin:
That area also encompasses 90% of the population of "crazy".
I'm sure that's an unrelated fact.

I hunt in candor right outside of mnt gilead and have heard some weird shit knocks on trees and deep yelling and it will make your asshole pucker up when your walking out by yourself in the dark. I have never seen one but if I do I'll drop his ass with my 7mag

I love following the stories and sightings of them. I like the show Finding Bigfoot or whatever it's called. There is something to the sightings and photos. I do think that if they really exist, we would have a credible skeleton or roadkill at some point.
I choose to believe just for the fun of it!

Yes, totally.
I've thought long and hard on this, read, thought some more, studied more stuff, and here's what I've deduced:

By no means my own idea but makes sense.
Sasquatch, Bigfoot, lizard man, Marsh man (seen in Charleston), etc are physical commando style vessels transformed into by what people have named "shape shifters". A shape shifter can either be an alien being or something from our afterlife. Theres a thin line between those two anyways. When something visits earth and does not have the physical capability to navigate the land but has the capability to change its form into something that can, it does. Why wouldn't it? Whatever the task may be, it's going to take on a form suitable for the task. You'll notice a similarity in mythical creatures, and what they all share in common is they are very good at traversing great spans of land, being able to hide out, avoid capture and survive any condition it happens to be in. When a being is able to alter it's form at the blink of an eye, it makes it practically impossible to capture or kill one.

Ok assuming this, a camera is faster than the blink of an eye. There would have to be undeniable photographic proof. I have also spent several nights legally spotlighting and have seen hogs, bears, coons, possums, deer, bobcats, coyotes even seen a black panther once, but never anything I couldn't explain.

Mr sir, I can't explain everything. I'm just a well paid duct cleaner with a YJ and spends way to much time in the woods and has the bad habit of stick welding everything. are you completely certain that you're in the right spot? A camera only picks up one one dimension. Our eyes pick up several. I just spilled Cholula hot sauce all over my shirt. Damn.

^^^^^^ bigfoot is real but black panthers in N.C. are a nono.Ask the state biologists.
I wanna hear your big foot story. And I'll place my hand on a Bible and tell you I've seen a panther when I was younger and I saw a UFO, as well as 7 other guys who were all there and we all saw the same thing. Big foot could be out there have you ever flown over the us. Its populated but damn if there isn't a whole lot of wide open space.

I can vouch for the panthers as well seen a pair before backwoods of Ivanhoe, pretty much no mans land

It was mentioned to me once by Art Lilley (RIP) that most sightings are in areas where special forces do a lot of training.
So, big military guy in a gilley suit surprising you in the dark, I can kinda see that.

But I have also spent a lot of time in the woods and have seen and heard things I could not explain.

And as far as the "dead body" argument ..... other than roadkill and hunters, how many natural death deer carcasses have you seen?
As a once avid outdoorsman and hunter, I've seen 2. Considering the amount of deer
around, thats kinda amazing low!

I have also seen wolves, panther and bear in places they tell they aren't so .........

Im not really arguing either way .... jus' sayin'.

There are no black panthers in North America. Period.

The panther is indigenous to the rain forests of Brazil.

You'd have more luck convincing me that you saw a snow leopard.

Expect panthers inhabit all of Mexico in small numbers and there are at least five that have been collared and have moved as far as Texas Arizona and new Mexico. As for black panthers in nc I agree. Even though I've said to seen one most likely it is a cougar, talked to a biologist about this he said its unlikely they are here but extremely possible at the same time. He thought that if there was a breeding population that their coats would be quite darker than their western counterparts and that they are mostly seen at dark or daylight would give them the appearance of being black.

Those are spotted jaguars, not black ones.

I was one of those that always enjoyed the thought of thinking Bigfoot and Nessy were out there, but if I had to give an answer if I truly believed, it would have been a No. That is until about 9 months ago, I was headed out of Edenton on my way to Nags Head with the wife. I've seen plenty of black bear in the area, almost hit a few in my time there. This time, however, whatever it was I almost hit, was upright. I honestly thought it was a man, but no clothes and was absolutely massive. I locked up the brakes, was maybe 5-10 yards from this thing as it ran across the road...in probably about 3 steps. Can't say I've ever seen a black bear that big or run across the road that way. I got out of the car, no sign of anything, no game trails, nothing. I get back in the car and ask the wife if she saw the same thing I did, and if she was thinking the same thing I was. I can't say I'm committed to saying it was a bigfoot, but I will say the size and movement was like nothing I've seen before.

That's what I like to hear, no doubt they are out there

How many full deer skeletons have you found? Bones are ate by squirrels after they dry and coyotes will scatter or eat anything they find

I just ran over one a few weeks ago while out riding my motorcycle...I've seen several piles of bones from various small animals while out in the woods. They find dinosaur bones all the time.

I'm talking full skeletons. I hardly ever find a full skeleton laying in the woods. And who's gonna DNA test one bone to see what it is
