My son has been watching a ton of drone videos and he really wants to step up. He has had small to medium ones that you just fly around and watch it and control it around property, woods etc.

He wants to get into the ones you wear goggles over your eyes and see it real time.

Before be blows all his money he has saved up I wanted to see if anyone here ever used one or has any experience?

He currently likes the DJI avata model: DJI Avata - DJI

Thanks

The Avata is nice. Seems to have been designed well with the propellers having a guard around them to protect in a light crash. The DJI FPV is also something to look at as you can get a bundle for probably a little cheaper than the Avata.

he said he liked the guards and the turtle feature that allows itself to flip back over if it crashes and lands upside down.

dont think i have a long enough driveway for that
If you can afford the MQ-9, you can afford a new driveway.
Hell if you have the new automated version you only need 3k feet.
