Engineers Unite!

I machine stuff for airplanes. I'm not really allowed to get any more specific than that....gov't job and all.

So...I'm basically an engineer :D

Civil Engineer no PE yet. Studied construction, now operate a dam and reservoir. Fun when it rains, but can be slow any other time.

should be a really fun weekend for you then if TS Hermine swings through this weekend!

Facilities management is so much worse than sanitation engineer. A janitor just manages trash and dirty floors, facilities manager had to fix everything mechanical while listening to epic whining about 2 degree temp difference making 2 different women miserable

Mechanical engineer by degree. After all that schooling the best education I got was from a machinist at my first job. My dad started his career as a machinist and settled in as an injection mold maker. I've been in a variety of industries, traveled some, and now working for a company that values a broad range of experience. It's something different everyday which keeps me motivated and keeps things interesting.

Never ended up doing the engineering thing...

Now I'm just a contractor that fixes all the problems the engineers create and then can't figure out how remedy. :D

That's something that people who couldn't get into engineering school say:flipoff2:

I don't understand the problem. It fits together on the computer screen.:flipoff2:

Went to Nc A&T fro mechanical engineering, decided I wanted to be a detailer for the love of drawing and modeling. Currently a Miscellaneous steel detailer.

Yup, especially when it went in 14" lower in the BIM model  (Both trades were at the wrong elevation)
