Failure to deliver titile

Jeff,
I've got your title ready to sign. I hope you accept my apology for taking so long to respond. As you know I never transfered the title to my name so I had to get that done first. There was a problem because the PO wife did not sign the title along with him. I had to track them, mail it to them and wait on them to return it. It took a long time for me to find them and even longer for them to get it back to me.
I sold the truck to pay for attorney fee's (custody issue) so the money went right the to the lawyer. As far as the broken wrist pin went, if that's what the tick was...I'm sorry I did'nt know. I was pretty sure it was the timing chain. You mentioned having me pay for the the expenses to get it fixed...I just could'nt do that and I thought there might have been some trouble when we met back up. The longer I waited the harder it made it to call you to sign the title. I'm hoping to get this cleared up first by giving you a public apology, it just was'nt right waiting this long and second, getting the title ownership transfered into your name.

being upfront in the first place never hurt anybody, i promise

Unfortunately I don't think you know enough irrational people. Many folks in this world are more quick to give a fist to the chin than credit the honor of fessing up.

I get a chuckle out of our "microwave society" (want everything NOW!) after reading a copy of a letter from a great, great, great uncle to my great, great, great, great Grandfather (penned in 179x). It had been several months since their last correspondence and they wrote as if that frequency of contact was "putting the other out"!

Now we get pissed if things aren't handled within seconds... be it our computers, our food, our work, or our dealings with others...

Although a bit tardy, I commend him for responding in an honest manner... in short, life happens!

All is good now....he was just helping me to keep the miles off of it.
