Fayetteville meet and greet

Fayetteville and surrounding area.....

Yeah that whole truck club for Fayetteville and surrounding area. It's just going to be for 4x4's. To hell with the 2wd they can mix in with the car clubs. :fuck-you:
I'm setting it up Officially.... "High Rollers"
I'll look at what font I want for the logo then go to a local sign shop and price some up. I can do all the decal installs. Did as a job once. Maybe have a 4x4 on a hill or something in the background. Give me some ideas. Nothing to fancy, want to keep price down but something that looks good.
Dues for the club will be free. You pay for T-shirts and decals. Then when we have a meet everyone pitches in to get it done.
The first meet and greet of the "High Rollers"will be 11 Jan. 2008 @1:30pm at the Gander Mountain parking lot on Skibo road in Fayetteville, NC. We will meet closest to Skibo road in the center. Pass along the word to those not on the forum you know.
Then when we go to other meets or events we can go as a group and set up together.
Post what position you want.

Same here about joining anything as of right now. Although I will most likely be driving a 2WD so I may not be allowed LOL. I need to get off my Arse and finish my burb.

X2, if I'm able to come it will be to meet new faces, not to join a club. That and I'll be riding the Miata, or the BMW depending on the weather.

This meet is not necessarily to just join a club. It's a meet and greet with other locals that enjoy 4x4. If you want to join in the "High Rollers" then that's just a bonus. After this meet and greet then we have a idea how many may want to have another one on MLK Jan 16th weekend and plan on going some where to 4x4. Hope to see everyone there on the 10th Jan. 2008

Jay4th?

Have you gotten in touch with Gander mountain about using their parking lot? I figure most people will say you do not need permission but their insurance company might argue the oppisite. Just food for thought since the place was decided you should have permission.

No I haven't. But it's really no different then us parking and going into a store there. We aren't setting any tent or booth. Just taking up some parking spaces away from the store.

I'm up for meeting some local offroaders, maybe find some local places to play. As to the "legalities" off alot of the trails on Bragg, well, if you can legally fish there then you can drive to you're fishin spot, right? Just stay off of the "tank trails". Mott Lake is a fun place to play, but limited terrain. I pretzled my tie rod drag link out there Sunday.(and yeah, I'm an MP on Bragg ;) )

My rig isn't big or built, but it is fairly recognizable. "WTF, OVER?" on the hood.

GOVT1911 I have seen your jeep riding around. do you know anything about NTA 8 all the people i talk to say its fine to go back there. If so that is a great place to go mudding.

Don't forget about this Sunday

I still plan on having a meet and greet this Sunday @ 1:30 PM in the parking lot of Gander MT. on Skibo rd. Fayetteville. Meet other 4x4 enthusiasts and talk about local areas to ride and upcoming events. Share tech tips and off road stories. If everyone is up to it maybe a local ride somewhere. Looking forward to seeing anyone that can make it.:driver:

Crap! I was thinking this was Saturday afternoon. I will still try to make it but might be a little late.

I would make it on saturdays, but thought alot of people work. Maybe next one will be on a different day. We can all talk about it this sunday.
