Fayetteville meet and greet

DANG just found this thread, obviously I missed the first Fayetteville meet, someone post up and let us know how it went!!! Also are there any plans on another meet & greet? Do you guys & gals if any, want to make this a monthly meeting thing??
FYI, when it starts to warm up I game for having a get together at my house, gotta big a** swimming pool, put some burgers on the grill etc :)
As far as wheeling goes members of the planetisuzoo forum are going to Uwharrie April 23-26 for our Spring trail ride if anyones interested, all makes & models of vehicles are welcome.

not sure if the fayetteville locals have seen this thread or not, but i'm helping start a club for rick hendrick toyota in fayetteville. its primarily for toyotas, but all are welcome to join. we'll be doing meets in URE, gulches, etc. but we're meeting this saturday night @ 8pm at rick hendrick toyota to discuss the makeup of the club etc....lemme know if anyone is looking to come out
Is the Toyota store trying to be like us at the Jeep store, we have the Hendrick Jeep club and the dealership runs two trips a year one to URE the other to Carolina Beach. I wish I would have known about the meet and greet before hand.

i asked they guy at RHT about the jeep store and he said that he didnt thin they had one. we're doing a URE run april 17-19. wouldnt be a bad deal to get the two seperate clubs stood up, then wheel together or something.....i'll have to get him to really find out whats going on over at the jeep store

I'm a service tech at Hendrick Chrysler Jeep. Our GM has not set the date for the URE ride but it is usually in April or May.

sounds good man....hope to see plenty of people out there...even if they havent responded on the forum.

Im down with a meet and greet. Plus, it would be a pretty good idea to discuss possible places to go.

the one saturday night is for forming a new club for hendrick toyota. more than welcome to come if u'd like to be involved

just looking for information on the hendrick jeep club- how do i join or where do they meet etc?
The dealership sponsors 2 trips a year, the first one is to URE. It is going to be the third Sunday in April, we will meet at the dealership and have coffee and snacks hand out t-shirts then head out around 8 AM. The second one is in August and it is to Carolina Beach (I don't have any dates yet). For any other other info I believe Angela Holland handles the Jeep club stuff, I will verify that with her tomorrow.

Is yours silver with an Illinois truck tag? I think it was in the shop a few weeks ago.

I'm a service tech and Hendrick Chrysler Jeep.
I'm also a member of the Carolina Jeepsters but also due to work schedule and some other factors I don't get to wheel with them enough or even make the dinner meetings which are held at Spinners on Raeford Rd the first Friday of the month.

Are you the "tech" that was driving my wifes Jeep like a maniac a few months ago?

I doubt it as I drive customers vehicles totally different then I do my own. I drive them like an old lady my own I drive like a maniac. Would that be the Jeep with the Usnick Motorsports stickers on it? Though I did work on it, clutch pedal broke while doing the inspection, and fixed it under the recall.

we will be doing a meet in URE the same time...17-19 april. it started off as a tacomaworld.com meet, this will be our third, but it looks like it will be turning out to be a RHT club meet too. i think the dealers should put heads together and do some serious damage

I mentioned it to our general manager and he said he'll talk to who ever over at RHT. I'm trying to get more runs under the Hendrick name in general. Last year they sponsored my and one of my fellow co workers at the URE 4xcross.

the guy at RHT is Daniel Conyer....i think thats how u spell his last name. the way he was talking, RHT is wanting to make it a BIG thing. the scion club at RHT is pretty massive, but i dont think a 4x4 club will get to that stature...even w/ other vehicles besides toyotas. sounds like RHT is willing to pay for trail fees, camp site fees, possibly raffles, etc...at least thats what i got from daniel. once it gets down to it, who knows

With the Jeep club rides the only thing not included is camping and trail passes, breakfast(coffee and snacks) and lunch is covered by Hendrick Chrysler Jeep. One of the guys in our parts dept is a member of the Scion club.
I think I'll try and make it on Saturday to the Toyota store depends I might start cleaning the underside of my Jeep in preparation of my up coming engine swap after being hydo-locked 3 times, ran with a K&N filter on the trails(mud always in my throttle body) and 210000 hard miles it has finally and slowly died.
