FB MP finds of the day.

A friend has his LJ for sale if anyone is looking. Not a jeep guy so don't know if the price is decent or not, but the seller is a good dude.

Seems like a decent price to me. I want an LJ but not auto. Most LJ’s are 12k up. But usually claim no problems.

that thing is beat and crusty and the frame cap scares alot of people

it for sure smokes some at those miles
Agreed on the rust scaring people off. That is still the cheapest running driving LJ I've seen in a long time.

Wait - 40k for a 20 year old truck with nothing special about it? Was it even that much new?

I can one up ya. People have lost their minds.
I would be impressed, if it weren't for the holy grail 7.3 AND being a dually, AND being the best body Ford ever made 🤷🏿‍♂️

My reference is truly a vanilla smoothie ....like Dave said...

I too love an obs 7.3 ford, but you could be in a nice 6.7 at that price. It’s not the low maintenance of a 7.3, but a much more capable and nicer ride. I have a 2000 extended cab long bed manual 4x4 7.3. It has 340k and runs great. Fires up every time, but it’s a rough ride and pretty weak. I still won’t let it go though.

So what is this? Kind cool!

I k know the early ones had issues in the F150 but I haven’t seen anything for the 7.3 having issues. I have seen the 7.3 having cam issues with high idle times. Apparently tied to the variable oil pump that only has an 8 psi pressure at idle. At least that’s what one guy I saw saying.
There is a TSB and ecm update for this issue
