FS... Doubler for an XJ

Is it just me or does 88jeeptard miss the effin point of pretty much every response and focus completely on the perceived bashing he is getting from everyone. Then he tries to associate himself with any group of jeepers or xj drivers in a ill fated attempt to foster some sort of brand loyalty to gain support of his moronic ideas and actions.all the while operating with complete disregard for common sense and public safety.why does this idiot feel that his use of inferior components due to budget constraints is some how a groundbreaking idea

Frank, is that you?

and someday hope to come out to yall playgrounds and prove that XJ on 36/38 stock can make it around all day without tearing up anything and making back home. i'm that guy, yes I am, to show off what XJs can do with money or without, with built or stock...FYI to ALL:::: ITS ALWAYS AN OPERATOR ERROR MOST OF THE TIME, THAN IT IS A MECHANICAL FAILURE!!!!!POINT MADE beat your rig, brake stuff. baby/finesse you rig and you keep on going and survive for your liking. I should be charging for these lessons I feel...lol.

Fine! lets make hope a reality. Come on out to the ECORS race Aug 24 at The Flats with your XJ and prove it. Its in Marion, so its close and the tow bill will be reasonable. The Flats offers a wide array of terrain. We can play follow the leader on the trails after the race. That sounds fair. I'll even get you a complimentary gate pass to get in for free :)

But, "wheeling" at Richlands and the mall parking lot doesn't really count as "proven" to say you wheel 38" tires on stock axles. That's like doing a burnout in the mud and saying you can do a burnout just as good as anyone else (its just "style", right???), forgetting the fact that yours was on a wet and muddy surface while the guy next to you can lock em up through 3rd gear on asphalt without powerbraking. It just doesn't work out the same.

Hell, I'll pay for his lunch and pitch in on his gas bill to see this. Anyone else want to help cover his expenses?

This is how the thread has gone for me:

Forum Members: We dont care about your wheeling experience we are saying you need an attitude adjustment
Jeepster: well I had an XJ on 38s once and I drove it through the mud differently than you do
Forum Members: no no no we are saying that you are combative and wearing feelings on your sleeve, of course youre gonna get messed with online when you do that
Jeepster: Will just because I aint rich doesnt mean I cant drive an XJ on 38s
Forum Members: ok screw it I give up with this guy
Jeepster: I had a friend who drove an XJ on 38s and he climbed over a rock and didnt break stuff. He knew his limits...UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE
Forum Members: *crickets*
Jeepster: XJs are cool

I don't think I want to enable him to drive on the road & possibly hurt somebody in the danger ranger...

hell i will help out & tow him there & so he does not have to drive on the road there
but when it brakes i am done helping

my xj is long gone folks, all I have now is my stock ranger and for dam sure not bringing that thing out bone stock. that would be a waste of my time and money plus, until I get new hubs in front and new bearings for the rear with locker and at least 33s or 35s, I ai't going nowhere but my local little trails around the house. fronts welded in but rear is pending on new axle bearings and such along with either welding it too or maybe buying a actual street friendly locker, haven't decided yet, and hoping to have some tires soon. then I would like to drive it out there sometime and play around a little so hope is there folks but ranger's not ready yet. thanks for the invite though, and no JodyTreadway, your not riding with me to talk trash and see how interesting that would be.....15 years ago I wouldn've taken that offer but nowadays, dude seriously...i'm way beyond that point unless the family's in danger so ur on your own there pal, sorry to disappoint.

dang & how convient i thought you were a XJ man ??? now i guss you are a Ranger man right & know all there is to know about them & "there limits"

well the truck I got more for work purposes around the home/shop but eventually way down the road I think i'm going to go 6" lift, 2"body lift and run 38s, with either built 8.8 or bigger and whatever bigger for front. for a while though I just want to set up on 33s to mess around. I got another XJ coming soon for 500 that's going to be a beater so look forward to that. enjoy the weekend everyone!

Then bring that XJ to The Flats on Aug 24! You have plenty of time to get it "built"

I invited him a week ago and agreed to pay for as many friends as he could get in any vehicle, just so he wouldn't feel threatened and coud have his friends along.

He declined.
