Been working for the pops too and taking alot vacation but for being on the backburner its coming along pretty nice. I have to build everything extra beef because I know how Josh drives...

Plans:

Motor mounts are done. If Josh breaks these off then he is doing something.

I've seen it all in person and it looks like :poop:.

Hole saws must be on sale or something, I hear ya Sam! Coming along nicely.

Nice build. Keep it comin!

enough w/ the welding porn already ..

I was thinking the same thing, those are some damn perdy strings there. Must have a steady hand like a surgeon (or is that sturgeon?)

Hey Sam....

just something to think about......

Dont hard mount the t-case and put bushings on the motor. It could cause the drivetrain to twist funny and break things like bellhousing:)

You either need to go one way or the other with both mounts. Good luck!!

Seth, I thought that over alot on my buggy. Ended up doing something exactly like this on it and so far so good. I dunno, might have to figure out something else but this is almost an exact copy of my buggy setup (thanks for the idea Jim...or was is TC? :flipoff2: ).

Thanks for the compliments guys. At this point im just building what i think looks decent and hopefully josh likes it. :poop:

i like the mount on the back of the case...it looks good. I just think you need a bushing at the frame. But thats why i am not in business anymore.

Seth

i hear ya. I got one laying here. I may change up the design a bit.

looks awesome Wingnut, sorry i haven't gotten back to you in a while, i been super busy but i will catch up with you soon...

i take it you didn't go wheelin this weekend...you feelin ok? haha

Nice looking work Sam.

Thanks RK. Still need to get up with ya and do some wheeling sometime man. Give me a shout. Should have my driveshaft fixed next week for the front.

Kreg, you hoser, give me a call sometime. No wheeling this weekend with the 8 teeth that got pulled this morning. Been sitting on the counch all day trying not to let the pain meds wear off. Damn wisdom teeth and molars. :shaking:

Josh, the whole things a turd but i wasnt going to say anything. I got a 14bolt sitting out back??? :flipoff2:

Here is the bracket i made for the back of my stak after i broke my tailhousing on my tranny the first trip out.

sorry about the teeth man, that sucks! nice work on the rig, hope you get to feelin better soon, hopefully we can get up and go wheelin sometime soon, i mean web wheelin rocks but i would rather go back to the real thing, haha.

take it easy

If I were to do it again it would be hard mount on the front and back of the motor. Trans mount and t case. I broke the bell with a high speed forward to reverse shift. Just my 2 cents

Just because you have them doesn't mean you have to use them...

What? Can't cut a straight line with that plasma?...That BTF shit was old last year...

:flipoff2:

You like welding? Come on over...I got about 5 hours of welding that needs to be done.

On a serious note...as Seth said...that crossmember mount is asking for trouble. Hard mount or poly mount...pick one...don't mix...

KOH '09!:driver:

looking josheee

Ok for all the crying web-wheelers...

-does this show that i can take some criticism. (even though i was right. :flipoff2:)
