GONOVRIT Build-up

now sam...all the heat is only because your skills are not up to par with some of the recent builds in this gallery with your marginal looking tack tack tack welding and obvious disregard for using parts that are the best available(and NEVER need servicing). plus...i wouldn't even THINK of using anything less than L9 fasteners

hahhaha LMAO.. that was a good one :)

More shit talking in this thread then the KOH one. Reed, the bracket is bolted into the case in place of the 3 allen head bolts in Wills picture.
I guess this will be a "high profile" build. :flipoff2:

You lied to me then... you told me it was JB Weld... this is going to turn into the highest profile build yet on this site.. I'm linking it in every single forum I visit...

The JB weld is all up behind the bracket for renforcement. The grade 2 hardware should be fine. I made sure to strip it into the case so they wont back out either (poor mans locktight).

Everyone just seems to be bringing the funnay these days. Aaron, you know im just an easy target.

Damn Sam thanks for clearing that up ( :flipoff2: ) .... but my question was waht are the allen head bolts for, bearing retainers etc... since it would seem as tho they are not meant for that bracket?

If it makes you feel any better Austin used the bracket Will has pictured and guess what? His adpaptor bolts still worked loose for the second time, luckily he caught it before it broke that back of the tranny off....again.

So what your saying is...were fawked either way.

Breaking the back off a tranny is somthing everyone needs to experience once.

Reed, i have no idea, but bearing for the front output shaft probably. I dont plan on taking a stak apart...thats why you pay for them.

what happened to all the people talking smack? :flipoff2:

Will, you arent allowed to be on here till you make progress on that buggy.

That 1/8" plate ought to do wonders for structural support of that frame.

That's all I could come up with right now. I'll check back later.

I ordered parts. That's progress. Right?

Oh, you should take a wire brush to your welds before taking a picture. It makes them look better.

Although that's not really smack talk...I'll have to browse more later...

Went down and knocked out the cage, steering, hydro assist on saterday and part of sunday. Cage looks awesome and is now tied into the frame so Josh is all safe and sound. Im pretty sure this one will get used.
Thanks ALOT to Nate (naterade99), Austin (SPOA87YJ) and Stretch (StretchASU). All three helped out a ton and kept it all moving this weekend. Nate is shop superstar and self proclaimed boss. :flipoff2:

I know college is expensive - should we take up a collection to buy you a fawkin' cutoff saw?
