So like a few weeks ago I was running around rocking a mullet driving a beat up rusted out ford pick up.
I spun tires out of every parking lot, had cassette tapes all over the damn place, music blaring....care free. A car meant freedom and a conduit to trouble, but DAMMIT LIFE WAS GOOD...

Well 2 days ago my son got his driving permit and school gets out early today to start Christmas holidays. I have agree to take him out practice driving...I just dont know how it happened.

Im like what 24, 25...these days..ok maybe I pushing 30..but Im not old enough to have a kid who is driving.

BTW anyone around York County, stay off the roads.
You've been warned.

Cops around york county, please cut the kid a break.
If he is anything like his old man, he is damn sure going to need it...

I remember just yesterday I was walking down the hospital hallway carrying my oldest daughter when she was born ....... now I'm 2 months away from being the parent of two adult children!

I feel like an ancient fossil .......................

I'm not near as old as some of you bastards,:flipoff2: but my daughter turned 2 last week and I realized I'm getting old..... And I realized I'm old because I hate everything new.

You're ok as long as what comes out of you isn't the same consistency as what comes out of the coffee maker

Meh, I just turned 37 less than a wk ago and still feel like a badass:D
According to some people I still need to settle down and grow up, HA! :fuck-you:

And I don't drink coffee but my wife's maker sounds like a water bong to me:confused:

This 52 year old says ya'll are just a bunch of whiners!! :) My "kids" are 23 and 20, out of the house but in school. So we are empty nesters physically but not financially. Ya'll need to save up as best you can. It seems that as they get older, they get more expensive. We have one girl so I know a wedding is in the future. But I will say, the wife and I really do enjoy the kids at this age...we can do most of the things they like to do: hike, ski, "some" sports. Plus we can have adult conversations with them. Really a neat age. We do miss some of the younger, cute years...but that's what grandkids are for.

Still feel like I'm healthy although it does take longer for my body to heal. When I go to work under the hood, my back seems to complain a lot more and fingers tend to not be as nimble. Hard to accept sometimes. But still doing things......

Yeah, my son's birthday is the day after mine. Somehow that seems to make me feel teh age even more, it's like we celebrate his birthday and I'm reminded hey, thats another year on me, too.
Just hit 39. When I was 30, my definition of "early thirties" stopped around 33. Nowadays I'm pretty sure I still have about 6 months before I'm in my "late 30s."...

A guy I work with just became a grandpa last week...he's only 31.
His own, or by marriage?
Holy shit. My dad wasn't even a dad yet at that age

It happens. My wife's oldest sister was only like 34 when she became a grandmother. She married an older guy (not by much - 5 years?) who had a kid when he was young, then his son slipped one past the goalie right after high school.
.. .well, then she became a bona fide g-ma a few years later, when her second child (who was born right after her 18th birthday) had his first before he was old enough to drink...
Including our kids, her family has kids that are the same age and play together w/ a whole generation between them. Hell there are some kids who are uncles with nephews older than they are.

Y'all bunch of whinny bastards!
I have scars older than most of you, New body parts included!
I have more pains, than y'all have shaving days!

AND I can still get up in my Jeep without help(most days)

Crawl on!:flipoff2::flipoff::fuck-you::beer:

I'm heading for 27 shortly and it seemed like yesterday I posted a thread on here titled "the big two five"
I know I'm not that old but I can see how the time slips by. I met my wife with a 1.5 year old, she's 4 now and we just had a boy who's 7 weeks.
My wife says I act like I'm going on 50. I feel like I'm gonna wake up one day and my daughter will be introducing me to a boy she likes and my boy will chasing girls and wanting to drive my jeep.

Hope to get social security checks after next birthday. I still can't tell my son everything I did probably never will. He probably will never tell me everything he has done. At least we never hurt anyone doing it, I hope

My son had his first day of driving with an instructor today. He drives with him tomorrow and Monday then he can get his permit. Didn't seem like that long ago I was getting my permit.

My daughter has had her permit for a month now. I'm only 33. I was not prepared for her to be driving me around. It is still hard to wrap my brain around the idea.
