With forecasts over 100 degrees all weekend long, how are you going to beat the heat?
I'm thinking about getting up to the mountains.

Ill be in the AC all weekend.... at work :(

Stay inside and go swimming at the in-laws pool.

Out in the shop building a front axle and then a complete tune up, with hopefully a couple fans blowing hot air around me.

Prob putting brakes on my truck an maybe sometime swimming in a creek would love to go up a mountain an ride were it cooler if i didnt have wedding stuff to get ready for next month

Well, we're taking off till August 25th! As usual we shut down in the heat of summer because the majority of you do also. August 25th is the ECORES race at the Devils Playground. Stay Cool and we'll see you then!

Sweat in the shop some friday morning then retire to the lake for the rest of the wknd. Rotate beer and water at a 3:1 ratio as long as I can count to 3:flipoff2:

Friday I'll be outside in a full suit and tie most of the day. Not looking forward to it.

Or attending a very good friends funeral. Too damn young.

Probably cut down a couple oaks in the woods, drag em out, cut em to firewood length, split em, and stack em. Then go ride 10-15 miles on the mountain bike at USNWC or Poston Park. I really should just work on the jeep in the AC, but thats what rainy days are for.

Wet lands water park with my nieces an about 1844 other kids... then the lake more than likely!

Fishing, fishing, and napping..lol.. sounds good in my head. But probably do what ever the wife wants to do as ill be in Ga for ecors next weekend... Can't wait for that..

I'm going to do my best to stay in the AC Friday and Sunday and pray really hard the fine citizens of Wake County dont set anything on fire. Saturday will be spent doing festivities for Americas birthday with my volunteer department, also praying the citizens dont give me a reason to put on turnout gear.

Fuk this heat, I'm going to Colorado where it's so hot it's on FIRE!!! Actually flying out on Sunday to visit the folks and let them spoil the boy. No fires near them just lost of smoke.

I have options...the replacement guts I stuffed in our unit last year seized up late last week...so I can either find more used guts and swap or enjoy a 100* house or invest in a couple window units. If I decide not to do that, I'll either start pulling the 460 in the 96 or the D60 in the 77.
