I was out of bed at quarter to six, out of the house by six, had to turn the fan on before 7 because it was getting hot, then this:

I've been bleeding uncontrollably for 4 days from my head. This morning is no exception, your argument is invalid

***edit...that bearing WOULD make me want to burn a unloving neighbors house down

Just finished mowing. Gotta put an o2 sensor in my neighbors raptor. After that hiding in the a/c!

Was planning on being out the door by 545 to get a run in to beat the heat.

Guess Ill start on cleaning up the yard from the storm last weekend.

At least its cloudy this morning.

Wife sick, so had to cancel reservations this morning for our camping trip starting tomorrow. :( And our birthday dinner with friends tonight. :(

All I have accomplished today is walk the dog. And plot how to put an A/C in the shop.

Got to play with my new toy, a clamshell bearing puller. Started to set up the gears on my front D44 probably 3-4 months ago, got frustrated with getting the old bearings off the carrier and moved on to other things. Last week I finally decided to pull the trigger on a clamshell puller.

Thing works like a champ. Pulled the old ones right off. About 1 minute to set it up, and 1 minute to pull it off. I was done with both sides in less than 5 minutes. (Edit: Dont do it like I did. Put the race on the bearing, and thread the lower ring down to it and the upper ring tightened against the clamshell) Well worth the money.

That sucks.

I was Up at 5am and eating breakfast. Out in the garage at 5:30am cutting the sides off my Samurai tub. 7am - Loading tree branches on my car trailer and in the bed of my truck. 7:45am - off to the dump. Took a shower and now getting ready to read books with my boy. Going swimming after lunch at the in laws house.

That's not the correct way to use that. Your suppose to put the race on the bearing and screw the lower adjuster down to the top of the race and the upper adjuster to the inner top of the outer cup.

Good to know. It didn't come with any instructions. They are the old ones anyway, so I just wanted to let damn things off in any condition. Now it makes sense why there were 2 threaded rings.

Loading up for the first relaxing weekend I've had in weeks. Details to appear in build thread when I feel like it.

Slept in, after being up to 1am the last 2 nights.
Realized I better mow the gras before it's too ridiculously hot, just finished.
FML it's gonna be a brutal day outside.

Gotta change oil and some other things in the garage, thank GOD for the window AC unit I put in last year...

I have had one of these for years. I can't imagine doing gears without one anymore. Every time i see it, I think about selling it, but then there will be the day I need it again.

Started off working on the sami but my helper disappeared . Since that's at a standstill I started cleaning the shop (it could be featured on that hoarders show).

Not yet. I still see bare spots of concrete showing. At one point I had 4 Broncos, mower, motorcycles, and untold numbers of boxes of parts in our 24x24 garage

Made some pancakes, rode 2 laps at Sherman, and getting ready to head to the lake- to mow and all the non-fun stuff. Ok, and to have a little fun too.

Been on an 80' boom lift installing exterior LED wallpacks since 06:00....just finished.

Did the same thing yesterday from 05:00-15:30...

It felt hotter since I was closer to the sun....right?

Whining aside, it is fast approaching time to sit in the shop, drink dos equis ambers, & stare at my project cars (that I should be working on)...
