Ok ,back to topic....picked up my rear steer stuff,The donor car 2.2 honda,auto,orbitol, tires/ wheels ,2 steerable toy axles,30 spline chromos,tubing,driveshafts,5 pt.harness,
Next is figuring out how to get what wiring out of the car to keep the engine running for the buggy.After that ,i will pull the motor/tran and start cage mock up.
 
motors out,with all 600 ft of wiring..LOL
will start bending some tubing soon
unsure about keeping it a single seat or a small 2 seater

so far:
its sitting at ride hieght in the pic above....on 36-12.50-15 bald TSLs it sits 4 foot 10 inches to the top main hoop,motor need to be raised up another 6 inches,currently at 105 inch wheelbase,widest part of the cage is around the motor 39 inches,once the motors raised the belly clearence will be 22 inches

thanks,Full time.... id like to have it ready for the BDB fall event.perfect test run for it,if i tear it up its an easy pull back to the trailer..LOL .not to mention its only 15 minutes from my house.
 
its rolling now,mounted the seat,got half the flat belly cradle built,mocking up the radiator mounts,

I'm going to try something different,the brakes will be controlled by a lever located by the left hand side of the seat(no foot brake). the auto shifter will be mounted on the right side of the seat.
will post up a few pics tomorrow,I'm tired..LOL
