Hey everyone, I am new to Raleigh and looking to meet some people that may be interested in going out doing some mudding/offroading. I know of a few places in north raleigh. I have a cherokee limited. I am going out today playing in the mud, anyone wanna join? Give me a call or text, 319-431-6363

places

well down off of ebeneezer church there is an old abandoned bank owned piece of land, talked to a cop, he said nothing wrong with playing out there.

off of glenwood and brier creek pkwy, there is a place.

40 and page there is a good spot.

no signs posted, so to me its legal!

Wrong! That kind of activity gives us all a bad name and gets real trails closed.

Without written premission from the bank, you are not legal. Basicaly consider all property posted and without premission in writing you are trespassing....

Oh quit crying! That's half the fun of it! Maybe you should be driving your grandma's station wagon then! This is what mud is for, to play in!

Here we go again, take the advise from the experienced guys. There's plenty of good legal places to go with out causing a stink taring up places you have no buisness being in.

I fixed the thread title for you :)

Banned in 3-2-1....

NO Ban needed he just needs to learn right from wrong and that NC4x4 does not support illegal trail riding

Let me step in and reply for Snappy... not that he needs any help, but I'm in a mood...

My Granny's station wagon was a Dodge Power wagon on 44" gumbo mudders that had more tread than you have brains... :fuck-you:

Ahhhhhh, that feels better. Somebody take this dumbass up and find out who he really is so we can make sure he doesn't show up again after he's banned...

Can we reinstate the age limit? I'm guessing he's about 12.

I should point out, that on many other forums, illegal wheeling is tolerated and if anything praised, I love this board because it seems to go above and beyond to prevent that, I used to do it, hell most of us did, but we learned, and hopefully this new guy can learn too.

For the good of the sport, and the 4x4 community.

Not crying at all. Here is my issue with YOUR attitude.... There are more people than I can count on this board that fight to keep trails open for everyone every day. These places include URE, the Stables the mud pit in Lexington, and many other LEGAL wheeling placing through out the state. One after noon with a you and a few of your friends doing this can set us back years in the publics eyes.

Some things you may not under that are seen through outsiders eyes...
1. The muddy mess left on the road from your vechiles makes us all look irresponsable and unwilling to take care of other peoples properity..ie the road system
2. If one of you gets hurt there the land owner could be in huge trouble and without there premission huge issues for your self. This makes the insurance rates go up for any legal wheeling spot
3. They can and have impounded vechiles for this stuff. I really could care less if you do lose your rig, actaully would love to see it, would make more people think twice before doing it.

There are many other reasons, I could keep going but have many other people on this board to back me that illeagal Wheeling is not accepted in any form(even if you use your Ray Charles, I don't see shit so I'm right attitude). I am going to take the high road and offer you wisdom that many have learned, come enjoy an event or come wheeling with any of us. If your ideals change you will see that NC4x4 is one of the best places for info and freindship, if not you won't be here long. I have seen a few guys come in like this and changed and are now some of the best guys here... URE open the first of April and there is great event there. Hope you are there.

IF you cannot accept the fact you are breaking the law and are making it harder to keep the law off everyone with a lifted truck or a truck with mud terran tire then PLEASE DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT, WHEEL INFRONT OF JOHHNY LAW, GETS YOUR TRUCK TAKEN AND HAVE A NICE LIFE!!!!

Such hostile language Snappy!
Dude is obviously an idiot.

Wow. I miss the occasional ass hat. Who is the famous ass hat that got ran off of pirate? I always want to refer to him but can never remember his name.

Now to b more helpful.... I used to wheel on a gas line right or way. I loved that place and so did the wife, in fact that is where we became a couple. I drive by there every once in a while, even stop on the main road and just look down the trail but I refuse to enter even though there are no signs posted. The education I have received here has given me MORE places to wheel legally.
