Patrick you have a choice here. Learn from those of us who have been around. It is isn't your land, a public wheeling place that is listed in the "where to go wheeling thread" Then it is not legal. Even if a cop tells you it is, well he don't own it, so he is on the not so bright side telling you it's OK. Someone is liable and it ain't him, soooo watch your comments or your days(hours) here will be limited.
Take a deep breath and read and learn.
 
What the fu*k are you Guys bitching about. The places I listed are not illegal, so quit crying. And I guarantee I har done this way longer than any of you. Why would I go drive hours just to go have fun. I can drive 5 minutes for the short off roading time I'm interested in. I have better stuff to do than spend a whole day to go travel to some place, that makes no sense. If that's what you guys wanna do, go or it. As for me, I will go wherever I want. I've talked to cops about these places and they are not illegal, so go cry somewhere else.

You are a fucking idiot, not only is that place completely illegal, but you WILL get a ticket and possibly have your truck impounded if they catch you there. Probably same for other ones, I work right by that place and I have seen so many Jeeps getting written up by cops for going back there, they even hide out by the entrance waiting for people to come out. I've even seen a couple getting towed.

But anyway, I have a feeling you may have just joined the banned anyway. :rolleyes:

I for one, wheeled on illegal trails, drunk as hell and smoking weed. That was 27 years ago. We have all done it and knew it was wrong.

If you use your purple heart to pull respect permission or anything that makes you fill obligated to recieve prefered treatment you were not worth serving this country to begin with. Hero you are not.
 
OK how bout a little challenge. You think its legal to wheel in the places, why dont you prove it. Get the land owner to sign something or write you a permission slip and post it up on here with a contact # for them. I'd bet any of these guys on here would retract anyhing they've said if you'd go as far as to prove it. Show us you've got these balls you say we don't have.
 
Yes Please post a picture of your jeep and the exact location on a google map to where you do this so called "legal" wheeling.. I will make sure my friends in wake county and RPD are there to say hi :)
 
There are over 17,000 members on this board that understand the responsible wheeling aspect. If you arent one, then life will go on for us without you. I would suggest that you quit using your purple heart tag to get special treatment. No respectable veteran would ask for special treatment for breaking the law. Either learn from us or go away!!
 
first off, I wouldnt share these locations on a google map with any of you sissies. These places I go are fun, so are the people. You guys are the type that would make sure everyone is wearing their seatbelts and have proper steel toed boots on. You are all worried about me, dont be, I do not care 1 thing that any of you say, I will do whatever I want whenever I want, and you guys dont know Jack shit. If you want to trailer your pieces of shit, aka 80's blazer, yes you, then have fun trailering it and spending all day with a bunch of guys. As for me, I just go out for a short run in the mud, then off to do other things.
