I got a thrasher!

You guys have some old school boards. I still have broken pieces from several Plan B (Howard, Carroll, Sheffey) boards. The oldest board I have still, besides my Variflex from Roses , is an H-Street deck that I picked up used when I first started skating a lot in 89 or 90. Still got all the old videos though.

I do still have the Matt Hensley tribute board, unbroken and only slightly scratched up.

OOOOO make me one!! Nobody has admitted to having a nash skate board yet. LOL

Yup I was also a Skater in Mid to late 80's

I used that board to get everywhere..

I skated street, ramp, pipe, bowls, etc..
I actually wasn't half bad but I loved playing soccer more.. so I went that route as I got older.

here is a pic of my buddies board he just redid himself last year..looks brand new

Those old boards are worth alot now, I was riding my chainsaw at my nephews birthday party at a skateboard park in Florence, SC about 3 yrs ago. The owner came up and said "you don't need to be riding that, it's worth some money now". Had a guy offer me $300 for it later on. I called Factory 13 and they cut me a deck just like it, that's what I started to ride. Look on ebay for an original old gator or hosoi $$$$
I also have some old wide Lazer trucks, the bennets were crap; Independent, trackers and venture were the best.

Jeepinmatt all those places are gone now, concrete connection had 2 keyhole bowls facing each other - was awesome. The UNCC halfpipe was like 10' tall and I think 24' wide, off mallard creek about where all those apartments are now.

Who had a Bahne or Logan Earth Ski? - you're getting old.

Free-come get it or first good rain and I'm setting it on fire.

Aaaaahhh, that would be a good start to a bon fire party!

Same as Sammy & Dave here... (too little coordination for my own good)

Still have my first board... Hobie "Skate Park Rider", Independent trucks, green Kryptonics, and the "standard of the day" white puck on the rear...

While I have great health insurance and a bit more coordination... I have no desire to spend the next XX weeks/months in a cast! :D

Hah! I'm so cool I had the Valterra "back to the future" board!!!
:shaking:
until I upgraded to this:

i still think we need to turn that thing sideways, cut it in half, and make a mini halfer

Hells yeah!! We can put it on my trailer and make it mobile! :D

Sweet if you want to sell either of those boards let me know. What color is your vision gator?

I had an Earth Ski with Tracker trucks and Bones wheels too... I also think I still have a Vision Gator and a Powell-Peralta skull and sword from my high school days.

My vision gator board is still hanging in my parants garage.
It's beat to all hell. One year when it snowed/iced in Cary, I took the trucks/wheels off of it and slid around on just the rails.
I thought I'd never recover from the soreness of that day...

I also had oen of the sets of rear pads w/ flint in it (can't recall name), so when you brake on cement/blacktop it's shoot sparks.
My Dad *hated* it b/c of the marks it left on thr driveway.

Powel Parolta was the Shizzit but I couldn't afford one, the Gator was a throw-me-down.

it's green...and I doubt I'd part with them, my dad still has them at his house in south Fla. I was a board riding mofo up until I got a moped in 1984 or so.
Was at a buddies house that I grew up with , I noticed he still had his old hippie stick from when we used to ride.

So many former skater-punks are now wheelers. There's a connection in there somewhere but I can't quite put my finger on it. I'll throw out the word "counterculture" as my best guess. Down with the zeitgeist!

Simple we still like having 4 wheels under us :)

I still have my Powell Peralta Ripper. Started out on a small quarter pipe my buddies and I built. Then we built a decent half pipe in one buddies back yard. Lots of fun back in those days.
