Knipex parallel pliers maybe?
No chit chat, newbI have encountered a lot of tools in my time, some are even on this board![]()
Same problem as an adjustable wrench. Works fine, but you end up loading at 2 points and rounding off the edge. I actually just got the guys a Knipex (and an SK) pliers wrench last week.Knipex parallel pliers maybe?
Yes! Exactly that, but in 13mm, and make it MUCH more expensive, haha!I've been trying to visualize what you are hunting. If iit was machineed, not stamped steel, and was slotted 13mm by whatever long, would it look something like a gas cutoff wrench?

Yep, that's even the perfect profile shape, but I'm sure the steel on one of those would not hold up.Sure sounds/looks like a ball valve, Is it a ball valve? If not, get a ball valve handle and cut the stops off it.... Bonus points for tapping the stem and putting a stud on it to retain the handle....

I would, but it's only used internally for service, not something we would sell to customers. We've managed to make it so complicated, that we've never had a single customer (successfully) service this unitYou should build a tool….patent said tool.
Then sell it to them for …$100 each…convince them their customers will pay $200…profit
how much force are you applying? or What reason would steel not hold up?Yep, that's even the perfect profile shape, but I'm sure the steel on one of those would not hold up.
And here's the problem with a typical open end wrench.

What did the Germans that designed this intend for you to use?View attachment 435205

This piece is installed in the end of a shaft, so the only thing sticking out is the 2.35mm of head

Does it even need to be a handle style tool?Yes! Exactly that, but in 13mm, and make it MUCH more expensive, haha!
