Hey fuller! I am guna build myself a log home out of rotten logs and space every thing 4foot on center! BTW it will be in a place that gets 5 foot off snow! What do you think? Good idea? I mean it's just for me! I think it will hold up great!!!
listen bro...don't even start with me.
#1. I know building Log Homes so don't go there
#2. You can pick at whatever you want but NONE of you will ever admit that my build is nothing as dangerous as you have claimed since it has proven everyone wrong and you're just internet ballers that just talk trash cause i take it...but yet you have not one proof of evidence that anything on my jeep is trash or unsafe. You speculate my build is trash by the "looks" and just cause every one else does but looks don't mean crap OBVIOUSLY cause I'm still running strong and if you looked at all my "important" welds:
such as control arms...crossmember (no bolts)...my driveshafts which I made...and my bumpers you wouldn't see one stress mark around that "weak thin" unibody that it's welded to so I must be doing something right and it just kills you to even think the possibility that i actually build a semi durable xj despite it's looks and ghettoness.
The welding test that I'm doing for the welding teacher on here is NOT FOR YOU ....It's for me to see how according to "books" my welds are but at the end of the day, it will not prove that I can't weld for shit as everyone claims cause in real life applications I have yet to have any problems with my welds and as mentioned, those tests don't prove the reliability of a weld on a DD vehicle as my customers or my trail jeep as none will ever see the abuse that it would take a weld to break before the unibody pieces/factory pieces ever gave out first.
What DO I Mean: Factory D30/D35 NOT MEANT FOR 40s even on the street right? right.
yeah well explain driving for 2 years and wheel bearings were still solid as new..WHY? because WE ALL KNOW in this industry everything is rated WAY BELOW what actual true strength of a tool, metal, bearing, tire, wheel, axle etc. etc.
Accidents happen in this sport. Paul's wife and a few of my close friends are testaments to this.
Yes thank you as if after 18 years of Off-roading (mild or soft or hard) I didn't know this. I have never rolled in 18 yrs and theres a reason for that...I'm not crazy on the trail but a close call here at the house is what actually got me to put one in and Rock Ledge since I want to attempt it...the money for the "proper cage" is more than half my jeep and you know me (or should) that is not my budget.
All I can say, I have trusted STRONGLY everything I've ever done to my jeep toys and never had one fail me (even those factory lower arms combined together for years at HIGHWAY speeds).
Would I like to afford "proper cage" Yes. that would be one thing i would do proper if and when i get the money but to tell me what i put in is worst than nothing and worthless....really?
