I've used one a few times. They do weld pretty nice. Have you had the chance to try out a miller dynasty yet? Probably the baddest welder I've ever used by far.
When I build a shop, I will own a dynasty.... We had 12 of them at the Fab School, and the last race team I was on had a Dynasty 350.... Thats the one I will have.
some of the welds on here are awesome! it looks like to me a few ppl need to just slow down a little, also a few are stopping too fast at the end of their welds and not completing them. just a few things ive seen, but im not nearly as experienced as some on here.
By no means do my welds compare to any of the professional welds I have seen in this thread. But I have been a hobbyist welder for about 15 years and like doing it. The pic is an example of my welding it was done with flux core on a Lincoln 140. I am just good enough to be dangerous. I made my swing out tire carrier rear bumper and now my front bumper. I do it to save money if I would have order the style bumpers I made I would have invested close to $1000 instead I have about a $175 in both.
QUOTE=MarsFab;900642]Looks pretty good man. How thick is that plate? Looks pretty thick, it takes some skill to do that with a 110v on thick plate.
