Koh 2010 52x buggy rebuild

Well I will get this updated soon. I am tearing everything back apart and getting it coated instead of the rattlecan I had on it....chips way to easy.

This is the winter list before RCQ 2011:
-Going manual valvebody in trans with a big cooler and runnin it.
- Dual steering pump setup and ram skid added
- Go through front end and fix new leaks that have occuried
- switch to a 3 speed atlas with 1:1,2:0, 3:0 ratios. Atlas with 2:0 will be sweet power with a top speed up around 60mph in OD.

will post pics when they come.

You forgot one. I fixed.

Why dual pumps? Could you never get the current set up to work right?

If you like fast steering or want the most out of your rear steer dual pumps are the only way to go. If anyone is interested in a dual pump setup give me a call...Performance Off-Road Steering Systems and I have put in alot of work in a hot shit dual pump setup...NEVER worry about pumps screaming or fluid overheating again...

I don't know what's up with his single PSC...looks like it was plumbed decently when I saw it...

Yea I was checking it out at dpg when he came to race last month. It seemed to me that it still needed some bleeding but that was just at a glance. While I was out there we talked about how there was a lot of tube from the reservoir to the pump and it was mounted lower than the orbital. I just wondered if he had tried re-routing it to see if it would help. That pump is gravity fed and the longer that line between them the worse it'll be.

I like the dual pump idea. Kinda works like a back up too.

It seems like a really good idea to get a bracket system for dual pumps made up and prototype a couple because I am feeling alot of people will be going that route if the option was available. Thanks Will. Let me know when you will be moved and ready to do mine.

Oh and the pump was bad.....Sent it to PSC and it was taost by the previous owner. All the used shit I used was defective... go figure.:shaking:

I am getting dimensions for a mini stak soon so we shall see. I really want a 2:1 ratio

Ill be working full time on buggy after exams in 2 days...more pics to come

I believe actual hydraulic pumps with external reliefs can and will be the future of reliable pumps, but also nice to have a backup if you really needed.

I calculated mine when I was going to use a 3 speed transmission but I have decided to go aheazd and use 700r4 i have. 2:1 should give me really good power to ground compared to 1:1 everyone else is using for the go fast stuff.

Anyone have used this setup let me know some input..

tell me what you thinkin

Looks good dude. You gotta get it finished quick though. When you're ready to do some high speed tuning give me a shout, I have a place right by the shop were we can run 70mph in the choppy stuff.

Looks good Brendan. Did the hi-steer arms fit ok where I machined them?

Yes they fit great. There not going anywhere.

The rear is done and I have steering to do still, put fuel cell internals back in and alot of little stuff before march.....

sure will. We will need to do some shock tuning...I want it to be really fast in the whoops.

New pics and race ready. It is lighter, narrower, and faster. Got a secret weapon for the steering pump finally!

Yea your not kidding. Just bought a house so life is taking over plus I wanted it to be perfect this time. The pump company is not the secret. Its the kind of pump. Lets just say you dont have to worry about feedline being perfectly fed into pump or bleeding for that matter.
