koh 2011? whos going?

I have the truck, no trailer. Need to get the buggy out there some how :) I just can't take the required amount of time off work to tow the buggy out there and back. If we could find a long trailer and another buggy, my truck is available if someone wants to make the drive.
 
You trust that 6.oh to drive to CA and back without blowing up?

Honestly, I'm surprised it makes it all the way to Cary every day. :flipoff2:

yeah right? Really, I was surprised at how well its been doing. Its the second one I've owned. first one gave me a few problems but nothing that wasn't covered by waranty. This one have given me over 50K miles with zero issues other than my heater blower motor going out :)


Plus, I'm flying. I wouldn't dare drive it to CA myself :flipoff2: (actually its not that bad, I just don't have the time or I would drive MY truck without hesitation... :) )
 
Stretch, you and rob get together throw me food/fuel money and cover any blow outs and I will take yalls junk on my truck and trailer. :flipoff2:

Take it as early as you want to go. I won't be there until Wed and fly home till Sunday.

I don't care if you drive it just so long as I can some when I get there. I don't plant to wheel a ton but would at least like to have it out there and wheel some if I'm gonna be out there :)

Maybe work on some manageable tires for out west? 800pds per tire/wheel is not good spinning on dry rock. :flipoff2:
 
I'm leaving out on wednesday Feb. 2cnd with 2rigs in tow for Vegas. If you guys don't see me on the lake bed by monday evening on the 7th, COME LOOKING FOR ME!:beer::flipoff2:
 
I will be out there the night of the 9th.I was hoping to get there earlier but can't swing it.
 
My brother and I are heading out on the 8th to Vegas then we'll hook up with everyone at the race Thursday I think
 
Damn, I'm out. As much as I want to go, and should, I have a major project at work which completes that Friday and starts up on Saturday.
 
I'm volunteering for KOH this year and haven't finalized my travel plans yet. I was planning on flying out, but would need a ride from the airport to the hammers.

If anyone was driving out and had a open seat I would pitch in on fuel.
 
Myself and YankeeWrangler are going out on the thrid, we are on Mike Karwath's pit crew, winner of the TTC this year. Can't wait to get out there and check it out. Driving out pulling a camper with another tow rig pulling the buggy's.
 
Who is definitely going?

I've been on the fence the last couple of weeks... but I'm leaning toward going. Cyd will be like 33wks pregnant at that point, so no go-fast for her this year. But if the doc says she can fly, she's in.

So...? Persuade me. Who is going, what are we missing? Maybe we'll snag a couple other stragglers with this thread.
 
how much is it to get into the event? I MAY be going to take pictures for fun!
 
Attending is free... if you cover getting there and having somewhere to stay.
 
its a 10 per person entry fee this year.

we're gonna stop by for a few days as part of our big ass road trip!
