First tow pulling two rigs. Didn't set any speed records or pass many gas stations, but she handled it like a champ.

PSA: if you're pulling something and you've got 4x4...USE IT when the gravel road turns to pavement going into Kairos! I don't care what you're pulling or what you're pulling with. It's steep, there are switch backs and you don't want to stop (much less back down like @77GreenMachine did) until it turns back into gravel. If you're heavy and don't have 4x4...I'd consider unloading at the bottomHauled these two relics to Kairos this past weekend. Set the cruise at 75 and rolled past all the fords. That entrance to Kairos is a bit steep, was damp when we showed up. Had to moderate the go pedal to keep from spinning. Probably should have used the front axle too, but didn't want to shift under load, and I wasn't about to stop View attachment 323129

Dramatic? I reckon that's a bit subjective brother...That's bit dramatic brother...
My '04 F-350 (9000#-ish with gear) pulled my (2500#) equipment trailer toting my Jeep (4500#) right up dat bisch... without engaging the front axle.
Not to mention numerous huge RWD motorhomes pulling larger rigs/multiple SxS's right up...
Pretty sure the dirty max driver pulling the 5th wheel that smoked his trans 1/2 way up and had to be pulled up by the log skidder wouldn't agreeThat's bit dramatic brother...
.
I pulled up behind him as they unhooked the log truck. I was in 4lo and just eased up the hill, temps never even climbed from normal.Skidder was the 3rd in a line of attempts to assist the dirty max up the hill
45hp ford 4x4 tractor, then the log truck was chained to it. Finally they summoned the articulating skidder and THAT got him to the top
