let's see those JEEPS

No love from @CasterTroy and @jeepinmatt

took it down 16 this morning. Guy in an A7 pulled up beside and started pacing me. I floored it and left him. He quickly caught up and passed while tapping the roof with his left hand

I mean - I sure hope he could catch me right?!?
I like it, just wish it was mine ;)

And I believe A7s were available with the 2.0T, so it might not have been able to catch you šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Pretty much how I'm rolling until cold weather gets here.

ever thought about adding some decals to it?
Actually yes. It is a renegade according to the PO. Was a slightly darker red originally. The yellow and orange renegade on the hood has crossed my mind a lot. Not sure I'd commit to the full stripe package.

Im sure there are other ways, but you can watch some Dennis Collins videos on youtube and he talks about the different trim levels on the CJs.

I have a set made for your color from Phoenix Iā€™d let go cheap if youā€™re ever interested

Did a family photoshoot a while back and had some photos taken with the jeep... sadly yesterday I pulled the trans out of it to investigate a bad input shaft leak.

Like a hole in the head - picked up an '81 Scrambler yesterday. It'll take a back burner to the Postal but may skip the Spring Special in the line. Plans are complete chassis restoration but keeping the original paint on the body due to it's amazing shape. And of course, a new powerplant under the hood. Autumn Gold with Nutmeg interior.

First pic is of how the PO found it with a blown engine.
2nd pic is after he cleaned it with water and a towel.
rest of the pics are how I picked it up yesterday. As we've all seen - projects start then stall then get sold.

I've driven 30hrs round trip before for a Jeep and many that were 15 plus hours round trip. When this one popped up an hour away from me, I grabbed some cash and went.
