Hey NCcummins have you heard anything from Travis if he sold his truck?I sent him an email and he told me he would take 21 now which is great but had someone that was interested in it! I havent heard back from him,hope I can buy that beast when i get home!

What kind of truck are you looking for just thought if you didn't get your friend's truck i have an 04.5 quad cab dually for sale in very good shape. Thanks

Just a couple of pics of my Dually, I have done a couple of thing to it since the pics were taken. Like new smoked taillights and Recon cab lights also smoked. I think my next move is lift kit and wheels and tires i will post more pics as i get a chance. Would like to sale if anyone interested I am asking $18500 or i might do some trading on a 2500 Cummins. I would like to have a 2500 or 3500 without the dually fenders just no need for the extra tires anymore. By the way has anyone ever changed a Dually to a regular bed like removing the fenders and the extra tire and getting regular wheels and make it an none dually.

Does anyone know where i can pick up a used set of the 24in BIG RIG rims and tires. Or any suggestions on getting a new set. Also does anyone have any pics of their rig on 24's.
 
I scored a sweet old man camper shell for free today. I will take some pics in the morning.

Used you are looking around $3000 at the least for tires and wheels.

Here is a set of 24s I was looking to trade my four wheeler for but he decided he needed the cash. I doubt you will see any square hole wheels around here, they are rare and offa volvo big rig:

for just the wheels, lug conversion, lugs, and all the fun stuff NEW, I would say easy $5000 or more....someone correct me if I am wrong.

He still has them, I just talked to him less than a week ago..if your interested.

The dually is doing good. 306,000 miles and counting. Just did head studs, injector nozzles, and valve springs a week or so ago. After some money frees up I will try and get a turbo and exhaust manifold next. I miss the 4x4 sometimes but I like the fuel mileage of a 2wd. :driver:
 
Just brought it home this evening:

- '97 3500 SLT series extended cab dually
- 12v CTD
- 154k miles
- 5 spd. manual
- 4wd
- 5th wheel rails in bed
- towing package
- telescoping tow mirrors
- spray-in bedliner
- low profile toolbox
- power windows, power locks, power seats, cruise, CD, ice cold AC
- brand new tires all around

The truck is in excellent condition for its age, it's a local two owner truck. It's completely stock. No power adders or tinkering under the hood. It's been very well taken care of. It was only used to pull a 5th wheel camper. With regular maintenance there's no reason that motor shouldn't run well over 300k.

my dodge is broke!!! bad idle almost like it has a big cam. it had a high rail press code fixed that but still bad idle, any ideas????

O1' 6speed 2wd 3.55 gear. 55k on fresh (.60 over) motor per Cummins Atlantic rebuild. Edge,5" with duals, exhaust brake...tows like a mofo.

Hell yeah I rear ended a wheel lift on a roll back at 15mph on the highway (sudden traffic stop)...not a scratch! We got out looked at damage and kept rolling. I was going to put a sport bumper on it, but after that happened I'll stick with the ranch hand.
 
when are we trading for my jeep cummins turbo? i'm down the earlier offer now, i'm getting antsy for a truck now, or you could buy it outright that'd work too.
