Alright guys gotta ask for your opinions! I have been wanting to get my front bumper powder coated because the paint on it just hasnt held up and is chipping off,so Im thinking of putting it back the same color (silver like it already is) or doing it black but if i did it black I would want to rhino line the bottom 2 tone part to match, what do you guys think?I have the bumper off now and taking it sometime this week to get done.(also putting a new 12000 # winch w/ synthetic line in it!)Heres a pic to remind you what it looks like!

black....and no bed liner on the sides.......

ive always been a fan of satin black or flat but glossy would look good too

^ Gorgeous! I love your old truck, looked amazing!
Hell yeah!!!!!! now THATS my type of van :bounce2:

This might not be the right place, but is 5.7L hemi that is an option for the 1500 the same 5.7L that is an option for the 2500? If so, why doesnt the 2500 have a larger gas motor for towing? The 2500 must be a lot slower since it has more weight to pull if it comes with the same motor as the 1500.

Yes, the HEMI in the 1500 is the same as the HEMI in the 2500. I have had a 2500 HEMI before. They are a little slower but not much. Gas mileage sucks and I will never have another gas powered truck after having a Cummins. I liked the 5.7L though. My dad has it in his Jeep and it runs great.

That's a good looking truck! I'm sorry you sold it for a Duramax

I just wanted something new, as well as replacing the transmission in it twice. Loved the truck, not to mention the power!!

DIESEL OWNERS!

Come out this Friday Feb. 12th to the Hooters in Asheville off Tunnel Road. We are meeting up at 7:30pm. This get together is now for ALL DIESELS! Powerstroke nation said they might have some people coming as well. If you have a diesel, and are in the area, come out!

Talked to Scott who is the general manager at Hooters. I told him we had around 50 people coming give or take a few. He said more the better! I'm going a little early and he is blocking off a section of the parking lot for us as well as getting us a good sized area inside Hooters. for all of us to sit. So they are expecting us so make sure you guys come out! See you there! Contact me at 828-275-0080 if you have any questions or need directions.
