Every once in a while, someone takes a stand, and it results in positive change. That's what happened to an employee at Crabtree Valley Mall who had concerns about the restrooms.

A lot of places are just converting to single-stall individual rooms. This just seems like the easiest solution, at least for any cases where you have new construction or renovations going on anyway.
Another thing it solves is the challenge faced by single parents with an opposite-gender young child.

I just think it's shitty that they had to call to unlock the family restroom... if I was there with a toddler and a blowout diaper, I'd be super pissed to have to wait.

Family rooms > men's toilets for dads with kids fo sho, bc nasty. The family rooms more reliably have a changing table NOT in the accessible stall, too...

I've never been in a multi station bathroom without a stall. What is dude planning to do in there that couldn't be done in either gender bathroom? And totally agree with @trailhugger WTF is this "call security to unlock bathroom" crap? Anyone with kids knows y'aint got time for that.

As to why its locked... sadly in a lot of places, single-user bathrooms that are set aside from others are prone to addicts using for a fix and ODing in. So owners have them locked as a way of monitoring if it's been in use too long...

Get involved, take back education, do not cede this vital battleground to socialist indoctrination and those that can't 'do'.

On general principle, a significant portion of tax dollars go to support this vital part of our society. It is up to us to hold the system accountable.

My parents did give up the fight and home schooled me and my three siblings. But they had far less options back in the early 80s. I would argue to be involved in school board elections and advocate for school choice initiatives to hold individual schools accountable.
