Lots of interesting news today

Did these MIT researchers get public funding? And they get to patent the technology? Seems…. Odd

Well at least one school is honest about the academic integrity of their players.
This situation (Im sure you dont care) sucks though.
FAMU has a player that used to live in my house. Has one hell of a story.

He transferred and has a 3.89 GPA. FAMU hasnt had an NCAA complaince officer since last November or so.
There is all kinds of paperwork required for a transfer player to play. He is academically ineligible because of this.

Kid did everything right and was punished.

All those inelgible kids werent failing

I don't doubt any of that, I was just making a jab at all the Carolina fans. ;)

Not written one sided at all. Didn't even mention attempted death by motor vehicle. Kid just borrowed a car and played bumpers cars when cornered.
Can't we all do that if we take a notion?

It a real shame he couldn't not drop out of high school and couldn't not steal a car and couldn't not go joyriding with 2 to 4 friends and couldn't not run from the police and couldn't not try to ram a police car. Those mean officers should have just shot a tire because he was a good boy.

I'm still going to side with her, to some extent.... But if this is something she is saying;

She insisted that with the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade on June 24, her unborn child now was recognized as a living person.

Then she's definitely no legal scholar.... The SCOTUS overturning Roe V. Wade was them saying it isn't the Fed's business, it didn't say anything about who is or is not a person.

Thats absolutely true, but technically it did also enable the Texas law to go into effect, which is where said recognition comes from, and why this POV situation will work in TX but not, say, Maryland..

Eh, to play devil's advocate:

Article said car was legit borrowed and owner reported it stolen because they had a disagreement.

Cop pulls him over with typical aggro cop attitude and threats about jail and cop and car passengers escalate situation.

Driver decides screw this, no way this gets a happy ending and GTFO.

Not saying it would turn out that way for you or I, but I can see how it went sideways.

I agree with that viewpoint a bit too, and that's the same way I was thinking until I got to this point:
"WRAL News has been told while police were trying to detain the other passengers in car, Crenshaw hit the gas, ramming a patrol car. Police say he hit the gas againand that's when he was shot."

At some point, you gotta stop the BS.

Also, all of this information is preliminary and I'll gladly reevaluate once they release the bodycam footage and the riots commence.

Its amazing how dangerous windows are in Russia.
