Those same trees are making my shop build budget go way up due to clearing our adjacent property...
No idea about that

Wow! I HATE hot weather. What elevation is your house? I want to move next door, LOL!
I can get you Deal, on Solar Panels & a TV Dish! We're at 2650'. Surrounded by many, many mature poplar, oak and maple trees. The house stays completely shaded spring through fall.

I bet nothing. There was likely no real threat but because of all the hooplah the governor will say that their course of action saved the day and averted a catastrophe.I'm very curious to see how things play out at the capitol in VA today
So what do I win?I bet nothing. There was likely no real threat but because of all the hooplah the governor will say that their course of action saved the day and averted a catastrophe.
Hell the protesters even cleaned the streets when they were done. The environmental protestors don’t even clean up after themselves.I'm very curious to see how things play out at the capitol in VA today

I really don't think it could have gone any better for the pro-2a crowd. All those guns, all those emotions...and not a single incident. Multiple races, genders, creeds, etc coming together to erase any white boomer male narrative. And as you noted, they left the place in better shape than when they got there. Frankly, I'm not sure how it could be spun negatively or with Anti-2a favorability. The only argument left on the table was/is 'these legal, law abiding citizens aren't the ones we need to worry about, it's the illegal transactions', which inherently refutes itself.
You obviously, and very wisely, do not read comment sections on social media when a news site posts an article about the rally. Many, many people said the people at the rally are the exact people we need to worry about because they are actually deranged enough to carry such weapons out in public.

This time of year I rarely run any HVAC controls...during the summer, AC is generally between 65-68*. That said, this week has been mid-60’s during the day at good ol ‘right smack dab in the middle of the piedmont of NC elevation’.
They make tstat controllers that can turn on heat when its low and turn on AC when its high
Have one of those ‘fancy’ ones upstairs...still usually just set one heat temp and when it gets warm enough, one AC temp. This one I can set at 65* AC, if indoor temp drops below 60* it can cycle itself over to heat at whatever temp I set it to and then cycle back to AC when/if it hits a max temp. I don’t particularly care for it because I’ve found during fall/spring it’s constantly fighting itself and cycling back and forth. Then my $120 electric/gas bill turns in to $250-300/month.

according to a HVAC buddy, the heat strips are supposed to run during defrost to prevent cold air.. being a reversed cycle, it needs air across the indoor coil to warm the outdoor unit..Another thing you can do with the newer stats is program them to not run the blower when in defrost mode. During the heat cycle, the coils will frost and the unit will naturally reverse the cycle to thaw them. Normally the fan kicks on with the system and blows cold air into your house.

just another reason to always carry a weapon. You never know when you may need it. So, like the boy scouts, always "be prepared". (There's a joke there also but I thought better of stating it)Don't screw with a dad's boy
