Lots of interesting news today

According to two realtors that we talked to over the past 6-10 months, our house would sell for double the tax value. Tax value does not equal market value.
 
In MD there is a law that tax values can't be reassessed more than every 2 years and cannot be increased by >10%.
So when the market is hot ad things shoot up, there is no way the county can keep up.

I am glad I'm reading this.....earlier this year I was considering tax value as a selling price point on a home I rent.....to the renter.

True, the team itself does not have any restrictions placed on it by the constitution, but unless they have a standards clause in their contract, he could sue them nonetheless...

Ehhh..be careful with that line of thought, imo

What if you were told as a business owner you had to sell products to an anti American organization because of their freedom.

The Bill of Rights protects us from the government. It isnt intended to protect us from each other. Thats what Sam Colt was for...

If the house you want to buy goes down in value, then most likely the house you want to sell has gone down in value....and may sit longer....if you're looking in the same area/price range.

Please explain, I thought global warming was killing us slowly, but we should be hotter?

"Superhabitable planets would also likely have a little more water than Earth, especially if it was kept as moisture. Being slightly warmer would also make a planet more habitable, with an ideal of about 5 degrees Celsius hotter than Earth thought to be the biggest improvement."
