It was an icy highway in Texas. As much as I like to blame people, I don't think it's the right scenario. Somebody had to find the ice first, and at 50-80mph, the rest of the gang shows up pretty fast.

That's just as likely to be a chemical related to a plating or surface conversion coating, a cleaning product, or something in the bearing grease, etc. The Prop65 list of chemicals is huge.
