love working on a sunday night :)

I have to work every other weekend, Fri, Sat and Sun, 12 hour shifts, leave home at 5pm, get home at 8am.
Quitcher whinin LOL

I work the same schedule as Chip but the opposite nights.

I am a supervisor so I have to be on the floor earlier than normal. I usually leave the house @ 4:00p.m. and roll in the driveway the next morning @ 8:30 a.m..

In the bed by 9:30 a.m., wake up @ 2:30 p.m. (5 hours if I'm lucky) and leave the house @ 4:00 p.m. on days worked.

The trouble is swithcing to normal hours on days off.

Every Fri, Sat and Sun , 7am-7pm, then 4 days off
repeat.

Looks like there's enough of us workin weekends to put together a pretty good weekday wheelin list

i went to work at 7 friday morning and didn't get off till 5 saturday evening. was doing a 24 hour pressure test on a natural gas pipeline. set alone deep in the woods in the middle of nowhere. got caught up on 6 issues of peterson's 4 wheel drive though.

I'm on the same type schedule, I'm on a team, but another team had 4 guys quit or be fired, so I was asked to work my days off this week. 7 days, 12.5 hours a day cuz we have a meeting daily. Hoping the paycheck makes up for being dead miserable and I'm only finishing day 4 as I type this.

Don't you have the magic wand where you just magically make laptops and computers instantly ready? With every piece of software each individual end user has used in their lives and has never mentioned to you?

Heaven forbid you set them up to print to the printer 20 feet away instead of the one 18.4 feet away.

You are not going to make it long doing that. Your body will either shut down without enough rest, or you will end up getting very sick.

Life is short, don't spend it all at work.
