Fun fact, when they ask what you want, say " a can of Sprite" (coke/whatever) they will give you the whole can and a cup of ice. That allows the first cup to flatten and melt the ice, and the second cup is usually much better.

Or, just drink it from the can. It's usually cold in that little container.
It's a hella lot easier to find a place to set a can than an open cup of ice.

Or do what I do, bring a thermos with you. Pour the can into your own container, then you can close the lid and set it wherever, out of the way.
