Thanks. Our gun season starts September 1st. I’ve seen him for the last 2 years as a 7point with palmation. Too damn hot for me to bow hunt down there in August. Shoot, it’s been so hot and dry down there lately I’ve not been that much. Skeeters will carry you off too if you forget to take a Thermocell.

We got coons out the wazoo and I had to get a metal cage for one of mine. They would be hanging on it shoveling the feed out.

That's what I'm seeing here...couple years ago I had a picture of a raccoon standing on top of another to get to a feeder! I think I'll have to look into putting a cage around all of my feeders soon.

Went speckle trout fishin with a buddy yesterday. We only spent 4 hours on the water. Made some banging fish tacos last night. Still got more fillets. 9 total only 7 keepers. First time I’ve caught one in probably 20 years.

where did you fish out of? supposed to head to Swansboro Monday and Tuesday. seems like the trout bite is starting to get good

This was on east side of Aroura, put it at the wildlife ramp. Went past the coast guard station at Hobucken. Can’t remember the name of the bay, but the wind had blown the bait fish into it and they had school up. Could have found more, but we were hungry and didn’t feel like a bunch of catch and releasing.

My dads not been in good health for several years now. He won’t give up going fishing on his own. Sold his big boat and bought a 15ft v hull that he could load on his own. On his 65th birthday he had a good day fishing

We had piss poor weather on our fishing trip today. 15-25 mph winds and a cold front made for some tough fishing. I lost two Bull red drum snapped 30lb mono clean both times, girlfriend lost one as well.
Still had a blast and everyone caught fish
