Any fish in it?
We currently have a very unpredictable bottom prone to flooding. The interior has become a beaver habitat. Wooded with a large stand of dead ash from beatles. I had a very large dam free of charge. A spring and a large drain basin has brought it from occasionally dry enough to walk, mostly muddy to a natural pond at its deepest point chest high. When the creek jumps we have saw trees marked 6 feet higher.
Has turned into a wood duck honey hole. It has also turned into an argument with the tenant farmer who plants the surrounding property field. This is the same field that floods. Last several brought in feet of sand. Every time he has to bring a crawler in to repair the field and try to rebuild the dike. When the land changes hands or he passes I'm not fighting the battle with mother nature. I hope the pond grows to triple and me and the son are considering pursuing a wetland conservation grant and such.
I'm the one oddball who has thoroughly enjoyed watching the

project.
