I've been told by a few friends of mine that my stock, only for right now, Ford Ranger would be able to make it at Uwharrie, but I want to try it for myself. When is the best time to head out there?

I found this site while looking for parts for my M715 project, My daily driver is a 90 jeep Comanche 4.0, 5spd, 235 buckshots, and my Wheeler/Driver is a 86 CJ7 258, 5spd, 35" BFG MT's.

hey.......just joined so uh hey but anyways kinda in between projects right now. i got a buncha toyota stuff and some chevy stuff i'm tryin' to get rid of to make room in my shop for newer toys and a 79 CJ7 that was my first vehicle that WILL get finished one of these days. but anyways, other than the Jeep, planning on getting an FJ Cruiser soon but no extreme plans for it (the Jeep is getting a full drivetrain swap). I'm into wheeling, sportbikes, and imports so my interests are spread out all over the place. i've heard this is a good site so hopefully i can benefit from it.:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:

Just wanted to say hey to all, glad to finnaly take the time to join here. Originaly from Asheville, moved to Wilmington and love it. Wheeling as much as possible. Any one know of extra places to wheel around wilmington? The places near Bayshore and Mayfair are now closed, and it seems all that is left is sutton lake... if you know of good wheeling spots in brunswick or pender county let me know!

Hey everyone. I just graduated from NCSU and have a 89 XJ that's bone stock for the moment.

I've gotta do a little engine work, but after that, i'll be lifting it 4.5" and setting it on 33's.

Hello Everyone

Hey everyone, my name is Andrew and I am a junior at state. I'm from Randleman, just south of Greensboro, and I'm keeping up two rigs at the moment:

-1995 YJ- 4.5" RE Extreme Duty on the suspension , 3" on the body, 35" pro-comp muds with a 44 swap in the rear. I use it as my primary wheeler. Alot of the usual mods, no reason to waste everyones time; however, I will say that if you have a CJ/YJ/TJ just for wheeling/fun, I highly recommend Herculineing or Durabaking your tub, its definitely worth the time and effort.

-1997 XJ- just ordered a 3.5" RE super ride for the suspension, sitting on 31" BFG ATs. Less off-road mods and more comfort mods, as I use this as my daily driver.

Its good to find a place to get up with local people and talk offroading, and if you live anywhere near by, PM me or facebook me and lets talk shop.

Another new member.....

Hi, my name is Paul.......I have a '93 Jeep ZJ 5.2 that I plan to modify for some light off-roading. I live in Kernersville.
First order of business is to swap the almost-toast 249 t-case, so I am looking for a good 242 t-case.

Newbie here!

Hey all! Just wanted to introduce myself to the board. I currently live in Raeford, NC. I have an 88 YJ, with a Ford fuel injected 302, Ford non-electric AOD, Ford 8.8 rear, TJ axles in the Dana 30 up front, 4.88 gears, 6 inch spring under, 33's with Staun beadlocks, Warn 9K, and the other usual add ons. The Daily driver is a 99 WJ Limited, basically stock.

Usually I wheel at URE and Gulches, hoping to head out to Tellico this spring.

I current work in the 12 volt industry with a small retail shop in Fayetteville. Car stereo and electronics mostly.

I look forward to hitting a few trails and meeting some new people!
