Hello everyone My name is Matthew, I just signed up a few days ago. I'm a newbie to the wheelin' crowd but have always been a fan. Growing up in NC every first Sunday of the month there was a Mud Sling about a mile behind my house. I often would walk back and check it out, they had some pretty bad a$$ vehicles there. Some of you I'm sure are familiar with where I'm talking about, down here in Willow Spring?
Anyway I'm working on a little project that I have been planning for many years. I'm gonna keep it a little hush hush though until I get it partially together atleast. Similar things have been done in the past I know, but it will still be unique.
Although I am a young guy I have been wrenching for many years and have more times than not had to figure out ways to get things done despite not having anyone to help me. I'm looking forward to being a member of the forum and hope that I can be of help to people who need advice on how to tackle something. Unlike some people, I know I don't know everything. If I don't know I figure it out instead of acting like I know and doing it anyway, which often results in a "FAIL" moment. I have seen people "repair" something and it's down right disgraceful, you know what I mean? It's like they don't realize how dangerous it is for others on the road. Sorry I didn't mean for my first post to sound like a bit of a rant, I'm only trying to give people a good idea of what kind of guy I am.
