Panty Soaker 5000 - C3 Stingray LS Swap Blower Build

I got a E46 to LS swap next year.
Car is in such a good shape I'm having second thoughts.

They're out there.

I'm thinking of buying one to do the same. It seems I have to spend more than I want to buy one that's not beat to shit though.
I got lucky.
06 330i ZHP 6sp stick with 140k miles.
Plenty of cosmetic details to redo. Clear is gone. Couple missing trim pieces. Sagging headliner.
Running a little rough.
Tons of codes (36+ DTCs !! when I scanned it in front of the seller).
Took me 3 nights and $75 worth of parts and there aren't any now.
Runs like a champ, hence my second thoughts.

I gave wayyyy too little for it.
Deals are out there.

If you don't care about bmws, then why are you building one, lol. Just because you put a LS in it doesn't mean it's no longer a bmw.
Because it's got a great chassis for the money and is a known platform to swap.
Everything has been figured out. For once I won't custom make shit and will simply buy a swap kit and bolt most of everything on.
I almost went with a 350Z for the same reasons.

If I had the money I'd have simply bought a CTS-V, but I don't so I'm making my own version.

crank out in out and back in. Finally settled on arp mains. Pistons arp upgraded as well.

Heads back out to mech. I fudged up the deck

Very cool. I used to have a '73, One year only car.

Im excited about it
I like unique factors such as that. Anything can be built to "look" like whatever - Ill appreciate it is a one year

Dang that thing is clean!

So clean man. Its already had a frame off restomod done to it. Frame is painted red even lol. Zero rust, zero fiberglass problems. Exactly what I was looking for - something perfectly ready to be modernized

I plan to reach out to and hoping to work with @MarsFab if theyre still around - to see if can work with them for a custom dash. Ill be ultimately doing something like below - its my kind of flavor (C2 / C3 hybrid)

What are those two big tanks in the corner doing?

600g (total) water tanks. I had hooked up a RV water pump to a dewalt battery and (closing off main) kept full whole house water pressure all throughout Helene. I ran the Gen 3-4 hrs in the morning, and 3-4 at night. Kept everything topped off with spring water from the farm in mars hill - the only creature comfort I was without is my hot water tank - however I quickly hacked together an outdoor shower setup with a propane camping shower setup I had on hand - so still had that even throughout (just outside) :toothorn: jk, was very blessed to be as prepared as I was

I'd throw those LS7 lifters and trays away. Go with some link bar Johnsons if you're trying to make big power and high revs. They are pricey but lifter failure can be catastrophic. I recently had an LS7 lifter fail after about 10k miles. I'm going back through the motor again.

Ill only be at very conservative 700hp
the t56 is not getting modified at this time
There is no point in doing BIG power if i am still on OE rear end and suspension

Valley cover on and sbc adapter plates on
cam and crank cover put in the dishwasher

Need to locate a flexible oil dipstick tube that will work with the 302 oil pan and a steam vent kit

Engine bottom end should be buttoned up this weekend

Debating to start pulling the c3 parts/engine now, or wait for a warmish day and get a drive or two in
