15 minutes after raising hell chasing each other through the house:

Goose and Darlin. He's 13, she's 1.5ish. It isn't unusual to find both of them passed out in the yard with her curled up between his front and back legs.

Tilley had to get dropped off at my work so I didn't have to back track and get her before we headed out for a field trial. She had fun for about an hour today.

Well she got a TAN pass with ease and several judges watched he and told me I should have entered her in the main trial that she was handling birds better than some of the other dogs.

Ole girl got in a knife fight and lost. Had a mass removed from her face, 4 teeth removed and gums cut back. 10 years and lots of lumps, non to be concerned about yet. We are supposed to get results in a week.

Just flushed our beta fish. Joker lasted over a year though. I was surprised. I got it as a gag gift at one of those stupid Christmas parties in 2021.

We got these because the older two decided they wanted to share the big room upstairs. Redecorated the room and this was the final piece they ‘had’ to have. I had no idea fish were so damn expensive…and of course they ‘needed’ the glofish and accessories that are like 50% more expensive.

I got a 5 year old one… kids refuse to let it go. And it’s not regularly taken care of. It’s a champ for sure

Get some African ciichilids, an Arowana and a bunch of feeder guppies. Nothing like watching a predator stalk and strike its prey

Ours was neglected too. Kids were supposed to handle it, but it was me feeding it and my wife cleaning the tank when it looked like pond water. The fish caught some sort of crud. It swelled up and looked like a little swimming pine cone. It finally swam inside the SpongeBob pineapple and went tits up. No more fish until the kids can handle it solo.

I had a beta fish for god knows how long. It was the subject of my daughters 4H visual presentation and then she thought I needed it at work to brighten my cube. I'm not sure how it survived there. Not even thinking, his water changes, which were several months apart, were done using tap water. I must have had it for close to 5 years at work and he finally met his demise moving from MA to FL, riding in momma's car, in the vase, on the floor somewhere in GA.

Recovered from the surgery, all clear, no bad lumps.

Start your day with my dumb dog stories.

We've always had an underground fence but several neighbors dogs wonder and I want to keep them away from our dogs so we are installing a fence. I got the first section from the house to the property line finished. The oldest got "stuck" behind it last night and barked until I rescued him. Why he didn't follow the other two around the house I have no idea. Then this morning our puppy ran full force into it and bounced off then looked at me like I just used black magic on her. For dogs being so smart they are so dumb

Don't give your dog a goose down pillow for a bed...It did last longer than I expected though.
