Posers

I hate how people think its their business what kind of vehicle somebody else drives.

:shaking:
Says the guy in charge of a 4x4 website

Was at a local event this weekend. My JK rarely gets washed, I keep up with Maintence on it for the most part but had some guy taking a picture of it and I'm walking up throw a Gatorade bottle in the back and keep going on about my business. The horror look on his face, lol.

the way I look at it, when the time comes that someone wants to buy a used JK look how big of a market you will have of street driven Jeeps that haven't been beat on.

Bought my 2010 for 5k under KBB and it already had a winch and mopar accessories bumpers... pretty sure a doctor bought it and it wasn't wheeled till I bought it.

I commuted in a 200mph car and never really drove over 80 in it. I didn't do big smokey burnouts, never had it on a track, never took it to the autobahn, guess I was just posing.

Don't lie. You haven't bought anything smaller than the 20 piece since you were 12! :flipoff2:

I was a life long McNugget fan until they came out with the family 50 pack a few years back...I went for it...haven't been able to look at a McNugget since. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure it's been 20 pieces for me since I was 5.

I call BS that you never had it up over 80mph!:flipoff2:

Not talking about cars anyway. I'm just confused by these 4-door Jeep JK's that I am seeing everywhere with $5-$15k worth of 'off-road' parts installed that never go off-road.

It's trendy now I guess dude. I know jeep and the parts manufacturers are grinning ear to ear. It's about like the chicks are country concerts with boots, daisy dukes and a cowgirl hat, they just want attention, lol.

Guilty, but read closely.."never really" It was limited, but would hit 155mph quickly. Limiter off 205mph neighborhood.

I'd have to call you a poser for having TWO built Jeep's you don't wheel:flipoff2:

I think I'm disturbed the JK is offered as a 2wd vehicle and more disturbed people lift those and add mud tires. I guess that's the "pre runner" version?

Who cares, you can turn either into a posermobile, and you can not wheel a 2WD just as easily as you can not wheel a 4WD.

If I was going to not wheel a mall crawler Jeep, I'd save money and get 2WD.

they only made the 2wd ones from 07-08 lol

Whatever, it's no different than brodozers that don't have a transfer case or never found the money to get a front driveshaft. It doesn't matter what kind of uber cool powdercoated axle housings you have if there's nothing connected to them.

Or have such a huge lift and bad pinion angle that they cant keep a shaft in it.

All of this has been an interesting read and to some degree I agree with most of what has been said but like @shawn said, who cares! They aren't your vehicles and I'm sure somewhere there is someone wondering why a Jeep gets turned into what it does in this community? Why does a little mouse trap sized Sammy get put up in the air on huge tires when a sewing machine has a bigger motor? Lots of people driving vehicles modified to their liking on this board and don't think that others aren't judging you the same you are judging these brodozer douche bags. I'm just saying.

Hey! This thread is about JK's and brodozers don't comare these with a Zuk.

Saw a Land Rover this morning with $10k worth of bolted on parts. The winch cable had never be

I probably should have just taken a picture of the worst offending 4-door JK poser in the parking lot at my work and posted it in the Douchemobile thread instead of starting this thread.
