Anyone prerun and timed it? I heard of a stocker running sub-10 minutes.
I can tell you hitting a water bar at full speed is a bad idea. I snagged a rock sticking out of the bank with the passenger front tire and hooked a 180 in the trail. I thought I had ripped the knuckle off the axle, surprisingly though, no damage (found yet anyway). I ran it 4 times Friday afternoon, one electrical gremlin showed up, got it cured I hope. That course is wicked fast.I want to know how many parts where claimed at the prerun.
that's going to be a very fast time in any class, mine wasn't a whole lot faster.I clocked JT at 9:08 in a hybrid A-B line. .
oh, and my pre-run plans were thwarted by a fuel delivery issue and I ran out of flywheel teeth. I may not make the race
You were trying to be towed up the hill before kodak by a Samurai . We couldn't let that happen, so he used his Rubicon to give you a tug. Hope you get it fixed.
I'm heading out this morning..gonna be there all week...gonna try to surprise yall with a few ''slow downs'' hope yall like em' See ya at the races

Thanks a bunch to you guys, I appreciated the tug. My junk fired right up at the road, so we drove to the outpost, met up with a guy bringing a backup fuel pump. Then off to Daniel. That is when we realized DK in the white Sami had only been in 2LO (good job on the RML ledge in 2LO with an open rear )I think my friend strapped you to the road yesterday. I made it up to the top of Daniel, when the fuel starvation issues cropped up again, even with the new pump. I hate to admit it, but the Sami in 4wd had no problem dragging me the rest of Daniel back to the double parking lot.
What's the difference?
Some of the people I've talked to are running in LR, some HR depends on your gearing.I still haven't prerun the course. I'm kicking myself but broken parts and a family vacation have held me back.
Are you guys running the course in low range or high range? 2wd or 4wd?
PS Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post up in the thread. I could really use the help.

15-20 psi is what I found works best...see I'm not a dick I don't mind sharing. Around 8 minutes was my run, slowing down for mud holes and went up Kodak.I was in 2hi until I got to the rough stuff then 4hi till the end.Tire pressure is something I can't quite put my finger on.... There's good arguments both for running low and for running high.

Are there many areas of the course where turning radius is a concern? I'm going to have a spool in the front and selectable rear for this race and I'm trying to figure out what I should be doing. I'm thinking open rear and 4wd hi range for most of the race. We'll see.
Does anybody want to prerun tomorrow (5/7, Wednesday) around 6:30PM?
