ummm....I'm not Art brother. In the photos above is Art Lilley along with his son (aka: rockdog)

Art final mission was in Afganistan he has left us, but remains in our memory.

I am building this stretched tin top in honor of him.

Norzuki - a friend of mine is going back to Iraq for yet another tour. What you're doing is awesome. Great job! Keep the updates coming.

WOW !! Weather was wacky here earlier. Tornadoes galore

Anywho.........

No pics of the bumper just yet (Tomorrow)

I decided to use the ends of that rear stock round tube as a mounting point.

Let me see if I can splain this.......

I took the hole saw and made 2 end caps for the tube. Before I welded them in I drilled 1 hole in each a little bit bigger than 3/8". I then welded a nut on the backside of the endcaps. Welded them in and POOF !! mounting points part (A)....Part (B) will utilize the rear body mounts. I drilled the holes out bigger so I can use larger grade 8 bolts.

Only pics I have are of the end caps installed with the nuts on the backside.

Ran out of wire and will have to finish everything up tomorrow.

Had to cut down the rest plates for the missing links and redo them. Also I had a universal winch plate so I cut it down to fit and was in the process of welding it in until I ran out of wire. Going to install a receiver hitch in the front bumper also.

a couple more pics.

Here you can see how the missing links rest

Condolences on your loss of a friend and our countries loss of a hero.

I know what it is like, I lost a friend (SPC John Young) of about 15 years in Iraq a little over a year ago. :(

May none of them ever be forgotten.

How did it do? i would think the wheelbase would have handled the two ledges on daniel pretty good
