Results arent posted yet, anyone got the scoop?

It usually takes them until about Wednesday to get the results posted. I'll post here as soon as they get them, so you can see official times. I'm pretty sure that 1st-3rd place in the 4x4 class went like:
1st: Josh (driving Will Carter's TJ)
2nd: Will Carter (TJ)
3rd: Randal Holmes (CCR XJ)

I got 2nd in non-street-tire AWD, 2nd overall, and fastest lap on the afternoon course in my Audi, which was a nice surprise to me. :)

The 4x4s were surprisingly competitive with the cars. Before they separated the classes, Josh had 3rd place after the morning laps, with only 2 cars ahead of him. And this is competing against specifically Rally modified AWD cars like WRXs.

By the way - what is the recipe for Will's TJ, like how much does it weigh, what gearing, what engine mods, and both front and rear swaybars? I think swaybars would help any 4x4 at this kind of event.

Thanks again to everyone who attended! Glad you guys had a good time. The club is happy to have you guys back next year. I'll post the 2011 schedule once they know it.

The club is thinking that whenever there are 5 or more 4x4s entered, you guys will get your own 4x4 class again.

I missed 3rd Place by one second. Not surprising though, my afternoon session was pretty bad- I chased the steering wheel nearly every lap.

Still, not too bad for a TJ on 37"s!

The trip was a total of 430 miles for us! Totally worth it though, if you are an ECORS racer, you've got to atleast try this. I'll have more pics up this afternoon and some video up soon too.

I could tell you...but then...

I have no idea what it weighs. I'd hope less than 4klbs. I have scales here at the shop but it's such a long way up the stairs to get them.:flipoff2:

It's stock. I promise.:driver:

I would think you would be lighter than that. I had mine weighed on Friday and with 37"s (heavy ones at that) I was only 4040lbs (no driver).

Will, I like the firesuit top with the shorts, it's a good look for you:lol:

Here are a few videos I got
My fastest afternoon lap

Will Carter in the afternoon

Check out the 2:38 mark after I complete lap #2 when I put it up on 2 wheels.

You guys are impressive in those videos. A lot more stable than I would've ASSumed. I've done this before in a car, but now that I have a wrangler, I might give it a try in that.

The wife and I played around with some of the footage we got. In cab camera, stinger mounted cam and from a tri-pod.

I'll take a small moral victory in being the fastest in the class and 4th fastest overall for the afternoon runs. Stupid DNF's in the morning, I did not SHORTCOURSE !!! unless there's video of me proving it.........oh wait there is and I took it D'oh !!!
:D
