Get the Duke power engineer on board before you buy the first load...or one day you'll come out to

Let's just say after the tongue lashing I gave that Duke engineer in front of the Pike boys, my driveway was taken care of...but nearly started blood pressure medication
Now you'll have a sinking Rut, for years.

Reason #38764 I love being a co-op customer. Got to lay out my pole location, underground path and transformer location with the engineer and was able to get it all where I wanted them.

I did the same with Duke. Key is project management, which @CasterTroy clearly doesn't have enough experience with.

So I was on the front porch a few minutes ago, when I thought I was seeing a drunk, retarded, nocturnal hummingbird.

Turns out it was an Eastern Dobsonfly. I'd never heard of or seen such a thing.

Started tearing apart the Civic I got from @Chris_Keziah. Ready to unbolt the mounts and pull the engine and trans but I ran out of time today. Picking up the replacement engine on Monday. If all the parts show up on time, this thing should be done by the end of next week.

how do you like the scissor lift? harbor freight or ? ? ?

3vze w/ exhaust crossover?

correct. It’s what’s left of my parts from building Little Blue Truck. Taking it to Statesville in a few. Brother in Law is going to use the engine for something

Then he’s taking his mint 84 reg cab and putting it on the frame.

Im also curious, i get tired of working off jack stands all the time...

It's from Eagle Equipment in Greensboro. It has a 6000lb lift capacity and the lift raises to about 48 inches. I got it from Eagle since they are local if I need a replacement part or have any issues with it I can drive up there and get it taken care of.

Overall I'm happy with it. The ceiling height of my shop doesn't allow me to use a normal 2-post lift so a scissor lift was kinda my only option. As you can see in the picture, I have to put boards down to drive on so the car will clear the lift. The lift is "portable" but it's not easy to move around the shop and can be in the way when not using it.

Was playing tennis with my wife, her sister and a friend a few years back and these things started falling from the sky. I didn’t even ask...just started packing up all the equipment while the girls were losing their minds. I imagine that anybody that happened to be on their balcony that night got a pretty good show.
