Darn good shoes, to many miles.
Train has a transfercase, four gear driven axles. Two front, two rear. Narrow rail used for logging. Got a bunch of pictures from "The Craddle of the Forestry", really worth visiting if your near Brevard and Pisgah.

Clean/brush the surfaces and weld that shoe up w some E6000.Wrap zip ties or tape around it to keep them tight while it bonds and walk on.

Started almost right after the camper got unloaded yesterday afternoon. Started today about noon. Just stopped about 7ish........I do crap like this after every little vacation. I think it's a disease.

Pulled an old beam/post out of the river today. Ive had my eye on it for a couple years and today all the stars lined up with the boat, tractor, and trailer to get it out at a private ramp. I have no idea what it was but it was made with pegs, no metal in it that I can find. View attachment 322752 View attachment 322753

My brother and I were on the Cape Fear feeding deer this morning, hot and muggy and the Gars were rolling. We should have brought some fishing gear, and some cold beer.

Disease for sure.My fil is a super cheap ass and even he don't save used nails.
yeah, I'd do that onl yto keep track of 'em to make sure they all end up in the trask /recycle bin

I've had one of those for a few years now and it is definitely worth every penny! Love how it makes perfect flares EVERY time.

Yea I made all new lines for my Nova and every flare turned out good. I'm about 50% with the shitty parts store tools. A double flare takes about 10 seconds with this thing.

Some boards are getting used on project....you know rough cut reclaimed barn wood! Or cheap Ass.
The rest will be cut down for campfire wood.
The really narly scabbed rotten 3 nails per inch are getting burned.
I contemplated doing a Matt treatment. It had Plywood, shingles, rough cut solid siding, and an old layer of cardboard. The thing would have went up like a Christmas Tree. Two close to our house and the other match stick buildings.

yep with my twins when they were little.... Now at 22 they are like mud and water sometimes....
Dosn't mud and water just make more mud? ;-)
