Random pic thread.

After the rough start to the day https://nc4x4.com/forum/threads/things-that-suck-ass.173881/page-104#post-1810179 it worked out pretty good. Put the oldest kid to work helping me stack some firewood.

Then had a nice takeout steak dinner from Old Stone in Belmont, and scored a sweet stand for my miter saw from the folks for my birthday. Pops and the little one "helped" me put it together.

I've head that same stand for years. Love mine but be prepared to tie the bottom extension in when stored. You'll know when it starts to happen! Also, they make one for the table saw too.

Thank for the heads up. I doubt mine will see as much use as yours

It seems really well built. And the wheels are big enough to be useful, unlike most of the other ones out there.

More good help today! If he were always this helpful, kids would be so easy

He did the first 12 blocks, and then tapped out, haha.

I wish it was a little straighter, but too many utilities right at ground level to do anything else. At least it will keep the rain from splashing mud on the house.
Also worth noting the all-electric side by side party

You might live in redneckville if the concrete plant has a deer corn vending machine.

Little man taking care of some bidness at our HOA annual meeting the other day

"So dad.... they all said I was handsome and I carried myself well in the meeting. Our HOA rates are going up 2.3%, but I negotiated a new swingset and a better lawn maintenance package. And I told that jerk that you can have as many non-operational vehicles as you want, or you'll take his a$$ to court. Oh. And I want a puppy."

Where did you get them from?

Carolina attachments in Thomasville. I have used the root grapple I got from them a ton and it has taken a beating. I expect these will be just as well built. The bucket has a 1/2" thick bottom in it with 1/2" reinforcement around the sides and a 1" thick cutting edge. All for less than most other standard duty bucket I found for sale.

You got a few good years, yet, before he realizes, "Hey? This is Work, not play!"

Pulled up behind this transport this morning. Made a left then made a right headed towards the house. I thought, my wife does love me! Then the asshole drove right on by my place?!! Obviously had a mistake on the delivery address. View attachment 333151 View attachment 333150
So those look interesting. Almost look new. What year model are they?

Watched some ospreys doing touch & goes while working on some solar farm meters in Washington, NC today.
