River crew over the weekend. This turned into a "how to yeet a 12' Jon boat down the rapids" real quick. Regrettably I didn't get a photo of any of the rowdiness. Phone died halfway down. It was a very long day. Sandy River hwy 72 to hwy 34. Broad river SC.

I may not have fancy guests like @McCracken, but @willness33 brought his carriage over to the @jeepinmatt plantation last night for some buggy repairs. And he was nice enough to help me unload and teardown the new bushhog I bought for my dad. Here's the current status of his KingKutter:

Found him a 5ft Dunham brand that is well built and in pretty good shape for $380. It could use a coat of paint...

And maybe a shaft seal...

But it'll certainly be less likely to throw a chunk of metal through the back of his head.
Finally got dad's replacement bushhog ready to go. I'd say the blades were a little worn...

Also, nobody sells stuff for obsolete Dunham bushhogs, but a Landpride 820-169C blade specs out the same other than being 4" instead of 3". Except instead of having a 2" offset like they showed in the diagram, it was angled and had closer to a 4" offset 😡

Fortunately the Carolina Crusher don't care!

33 tons later and they are 1-3/4" offset and within +/-1/16" of each other. Good enough for pasture chopping duty!

Ready for another 40 years of battle!

Also, if anyone is crawling the internet looking for info on Dunham EG-60 5ft rotary cutters, the gearbox lower seal is a Parker 15025-H1L5, 1.875"ID, 2.891" OD, 0.5" Width, which is hard to find, but still available from old stock in various places. And the PTO shaft is a Weasler 1400 series with 1.5" 6 spline at the tractor end, but a 100-1406 or 102-1406 swaps right on, is in stock at Tractor Supply, and fits the common 1-3/8" 6 spline. Also has the 1"x1-1/8" rectangular slip.

So I came up with a really dope idea....
Insta-squat cones.
Say you're running late for the NOPI event and your truck isn't squatted enough yet. Here's the solution:
Kustom bed cones, Mig welded .188" COR-TEN steel, powder coated orange and filled with molten lead. Slap one of these hoes in the bed of your mildly squatted Chevy and Bam!! Stupid squat! (Some craning required) Just dial in some local low-quality rap music and that shit'll look tight. Even has bolt holes so the haters can't snag it up.
Hit us up on IG, brah.

Jk. They're flower pots.

So the wife had surgery on her foot and leg 3 weeks ago. I’ve cooked more in those 3 weeks than I have in the last 2 years. Basically I can cook burgers, chicken, and steak on a charcoal grill. But I knew she would get tired of that, so I’ve broadened my abilities.
I bought a small Blackstone. I’ve done several things on it now, but this was awesome. Found it on YouTube, so tried it and liked it. Gluten free ravioli from Earthfare (I’m the one that can’t have gluten), chicken, tomatoes, jar of roasted red peppers, Olive Garden Italian dressing, throw it all on the Blackstone.

Last night I wanted something with our burgers besides fries. So I found a recipe for homemade gluten free onion rings. It rocked! Even the kids thought they were great! And it’s always good to throw some peaches on the charcoal grill while it’s still hot. The down side to the onion rings is my proficiency in the kitchen. There was stuff all over the counters by the time I was finished cooking.

My wife uses emeals when she wants gets bored of our normal meals and wants to try something new. I think you can tailor the meals to your likes and needs as well.

First we built a track using old tractors

Then we raced around the track

Then we went full send

I mean… I know it’s not a hard job, but I’m pretty sure this just ain’t right. I keep missing the timing just so to show that he’s carrying some rather wide loads of floor joists… ima laugh if he drops them. As long as they’re not on my lawn or truck.
